Besides the obvious, what's the story with Miranda Sings?

Well, I guess by "the obvious", you mean that she's actually a very good singer in "real life".  Otherwise, "Miranda" has managed to work her way in various cabarets, revues and events (including the BC/EFA "Easter Bonnet Competition").  I got the joke the first time I heard her, saw here, and find her "success" a little strange and unfounded(?).  However, I do find her entertaining.

First I saw this:

And then I read this:

This is the model I purchased last last year.  No worries, no problems.

My passport has been received for processing, so says the Government.

Which, hopefully, means it's already on its way back to you.

Where exactly abroad will you be traveling? -If you are able to reveal such details at this point and time.

I am currently going thru withdrawl.  Since my dental procedure today was mostly cosmetic, I can not have any of my cranberry juice for three long hours.

Can you take a pill in the meantime? ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,

TO DR JOSE'S FIRST PRODUCER!

Shouldn't that be CO-PRODUCER?

There were two needed to produce this long running hit! :-)

Thank You, DR Michael S.  And I'm sure my father would thank you too.  :)

You Tube has a new supposedly must-see video that over 1.6 million people have already watched.  Although I thought it was kind of sweet, I, frankly, wasn't terrbly moved by it.  However, anyone who enjoys seeing a very beautiful looking man and his muscles, I highly recommend it.  You can go to youtube and type in ONE MAN. ONE DREAM. ONE CHANCE.; or hopefully you can click on this link to watch it.

(And damn I wish my name was Loren.)

I saw that the other day.  A "must-see"? Really?  Hmm...

And while I was out walking, I happened to find myself at the Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble.  In the window I happened to notice this:

DR elmore - Did you happen to know about this?  And, if so, will you being going tomorrow night?

I did not. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.

Tomorrow, June 4, we may be changing the name of the office from Toyland to Carpetland because the meeting tomorrow could be grisly and I may be called on the carpet. My goal is to survive until 4 pm, at which point it will be hopefully over.

Then I watched APRIL IN PARIS. It's by far the weakest looking of the Doris Day movies in this set. About 1/3 of it was either soft, out of focus, or out of color registration. And none of it looked great. Sound was kind of puny, too.

And I was really shocked at how poorly Ray Bolger sang in this film. He misses many notes. I couldn't believe that I had never noticed this before.

I watched one motion picture on Blu-Ray.  I think it's time for a new glasses prescription, too, as it's almost better if I don't wear my glasses at all, save for my left eye begin out of focus.  But when I wear them, my right eye is now slightly out of focus and the left eye, while much better with the glasses, is still slightly soft.

Next I decided to check out the special HD preview premiere episode of Edie Falco's new series NURSE JACKIE on Showtime.

It's kind of brittle but very involving. One of my heartthrobs Paul Schulze co-stars as the hospital pharmacist.

Next up was Tuesday night's RESCUE ME. Not as good an episode as the previous several have been. I did like the showdown scene between Probie Mike and Tommy, but all of Tommy's sexcapades are really getting old after six seasons.

I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS since the fellows were on. Again, though they were more like extras in today's show, though with Noah's new film project, it looks like this will be the way they'll work Colonel Meyer back into the show. We'll see.

And I ended my evening of viewing with tonight's LAW & ORDER season finale. An excellent episode and not one moment of it taking place in a courtroom this week, very unusual for this series. (They did have a couple of scenes in the grand jury room, but that was all.)

DR elmore - Well, if you feel like celebrating or "drowning" tomorrow afternoon, just give me a call.  I'll be down at Chelsea Studios tomorrow afternoon until around 5:15.

I forgot to mention that NURSE JACKIE is only a half hour series, another reason to love it. It's premiering on Monday after WEEDS' season premiere.

I never did get that nap today. Just never felt the least bit drowsy, so I hope that augers well for a good night's sleep tonight.

Good night!

Just how old is your current prescription/pair of glasses?

A Question for BK on Ask BK Day:

Since you have the reading for The First Nudie Musical coming up, which composers - musical theatre and/or film - would you love to have at the readings, to get their feedback?

Who would make you the most nervous?

And you can also "raise the dead" with your answer(s).

It was actually really interesting. It's Mario Batalli's Bet (on) the Farm campaign for local foods in Las Vegas.  There was a farmers market and I got some great fruit to keep in the hotel room
