Last night, we had our last performance of our first weekend of "Romeo & Juliet."  Both Friday and Saturday night's shows were about 3 hours and five minutes.  Last night's show was about 10 minutes longer.  We're slowing down...but the audience (all 15 or so of them) seemed to really enjoy it.  We now have two night's off and our next performance will be Wednesday.  Hoo and Ray!! ;D

Monday morning greetings!

Ginny, was one of the reasons you are back at the Comfort Inn on 46th Street for ease of access for Dear Richard to

Episcopal Church of Saint Mary the Virgin

just down the block from the hotel?

Yes, DR Ben, it's right next door.  Richard just returned from Morning Prayer and we're about to go to breakfast.

Good morning, all! I am about to head to Toyland for some work on formats, then I have a meeting at 11 with my accountant, whose office is conveniently next door to Toyland.

At 2, I'm having lunch with my friend John Margulis. His wife Judy was a big help in getting Teresa Stratas in touch with the McGlinn family. I'm sure we'll have lots of dish.

I also enjoy all of Redford's directing work, though I have yet to see that last one with Myrle Streep and Tom Cruise.

THE GOONIES--Arrrgh!!  Just about everyone I know loves this movie, even some people whose opinion I usually respect.  But I agree with BK 100%--I can't stand it!  I find it witless, charmless and obnoxious to the core.

Back from breakfast.  We're going to venture to the Lower East Side today to see a church we read about in the NY Times and some of the other sights from the first HHW walking tour that DR Jose conducted.

Last night DR Cillaliz said:

Quote
That's not a new song, but it was new to me, so I thought I'd share - you can also download it free on her website www.janisian.com

I've been admiring Janis Ian and the salesmanship of her music on her website.  Despite the RIAA's warnings that free downloads will be the death of the music industry, Janis has been offering free music from her CD's since day one and continues to do a bang up job on sales of her CDs.
