Bill Russell (Side Show, Pageant) and his feller of 30 years Bruce Bossard (bruceb on All That Chat) finally :) got hitched, per the New York Times.

Horse racing is right. I think DANCES WITH WOLVES is a brilliant film, and I've never had any trouble making it through the movie multiple times.

I had a fun afternoon of viewing.

I began with this week's edition of THE FASHION SHOW. I certainly agree with who went home. The four best ones do seem to be in the finals. Haven might have perhaps been a good addition, too, but these four are certainly talented and creative.

Next I watched two episodes of VERONICA MARS, mostly so I could get that disc out of the player so I could use it for the Tarzan movie later.

The first one had Veronica trying to find her upstairs neighbor who had gone missing. She suspected foul play (she had heard a scream overhead the night before).

The second episode had to do with some school shenanigans involving students who had taken a modesty test on-line and the results, which were supposed to have been secret, were being broadcast for the entire school to see.

The episodes that deal with "poor students who are the butt of jokes at school" are always my least favorite episodes of VERONICA MARS. These just don't seem cases worthy of the formidible Veronica.

This is also the episode where Keith helps Veronica's friend get rid of a deadbeat roomer and Keith begins to fall for the mom. My goodness, that's two girl friends for Keith during the first season already, and he's still married (though his wife abandoned them).

Then I watched TARZAN AND THE SLAVE GIRL. There's a new (untalented) Jane in this one, and about 30 minutes of the movie is hiking through the jungle which isn't all that interesting. Once they get to the village ruled over by Hurd Hatfield, it's very involving, but this is one of the lesser Tarzan adventures.

I'm heading downstairs now to clean the guest bath, put away the folded laundry, and then get back to viewing.

Thank you, Nursie!

DRS, I apologize to all you for DR cillaliz' unseemly breach of etiquette by pointing out my failure to post any birthday felicitations. It's most unseemly of her.

The baby & her family have gone home.  I think the Corgi wasn't too sure about all the changes and Sherlock, though Sherlock was absolutely perfect and soooo good with the baby.

I will miss the little girl with the great smile & darling expressions.  I did learn they have a webcam so we can see her occasionally.  We Skyped with Craig & Ioana so they could meet her, and the parents could meet Ioana.
