ENIGMA VARIATIONS

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were varied and enigmatic, not necessarily in that order, and now it is time for you to post until the enigmatic cows come home.

Good morning, all! I slept quite poorly last night; the storm was fun but my allergies were in high gear and no matter what meds I took, nothing seemed to clear out my nose and lungs. I believe I've pulled a muscle in my back - at least I hope it's a muscle and not a kidney infection or appendicitis or something awful - and I've been in a lot of discomfort. All said, I got to sleep some time after 2 am, and I was wide awake at 7:30 am. That means tonight around 9 I will be ready to pass out and hopefully sleep soundly. Tomorrow is a very busy day.

This morning I am off to Toyland. I want to finish up something I started yesterday and to pick up some things I forgot to bring home with me. When I get back, I have an invoice to send and some work cluttering my desk.

I'll check in from Toyland.

Sunday morning greetings!  Richard and I are going to Choral Eucharist at St. James (Episcopal) Cathedral this morning.  He'll stay for a tour of the cathedral and I'll make my way down Michigan Ave. to the Fairmont Hotel for a program titled "Real Life Forensics-like on NUMB3RS, CSI, and NCIS."  In that session, forensics librarians at federal agencies (FBI, DEA, etc.) will talk about how they help with investigations.  After that, Richard and I will meet at the Hyatt to attend my Univ. of Michigan grad school alumni reception.  Maybe we'll also get a glimpse of Lake Michigan today.

Thanks to DR FRANCOIS for the links to the Jean Seberg Philippe Forquet photos....the one from very late in the film with Jean in haute couture and Philippe in his military uniform was especially nice.

Have I mentioned that my sister's episode of UFO HUNTERS is now scheduled?

It is July 22 at 10 p.m. EST on the History Channel.....at least right now.

I finished IM WEISSEN ROSSL - the bows were almost as long as another act....with as much choreography, singing, and carrying on....but the whole thing was just so much fun.  I especially liked Marco Jentzsch and Zabine Kapfinger.
