That truly WOULD have stopped it, DR Kerry, had that happened...   it's a DIGITAL pipe organ!!        :D
And very controversial in Episcopal circles.

Of that I have no doubt!

on Wednesday the Vixter leaves for New Orleans she is going to join with thousands of other Lutheran youth from around the country to help with the rebuilding efforts

today we went out and bought her some sturdy work boots along with various other items she will need for the trip

I am very sorry to hear that dear Elmore is under the weather and I am very pleased  (but not all suprised) to learn that our wonderful Jose has been visiting and aiding him in this time of trouble

I am hungry.  And it's almost time for COPS.
I was hungry.  I called for pizza.
What kind?
Fox's.

I want to know what kind of pizza-- what did you get on the pizza!

Last Christmas Day we sang  "I wondered as I wandered"... at leats most of the congregation did... Vixdad was having a private chuckle to himself ove the lyrics when the Vixter whispered to him  that it sounded like a Blackadder parody song and he completely lost it - albeit silently  -- he was hugging himself and shaking and turning red and the tears were streaming down his face...

and we were sitting in the front pew

I could only hope the other parishoners thought he was deeply moved by the Spirit...

(I wanted to deeply move him with my foot)

Well... I spotted the Verizon trucks up the street when I got back to my apartment... And since my internet seems to have slowed to a crawl, I guess that means they're working on the lines... So...

Laters...

*Good to see you, DR vixmom!

Me, too, but more often on my laptop downstairs (which uses Windows XP) than on my desktop upstairs (which uses Vista).

And now I think I'll head downstairs to bed. It is midnight here, so time for some sleep.

Good night!

I am full of homemade strawberry ice cream.   It was very good and I have a lot left to eat over the next few days.   I've had my ice cream maker for several years and just forgot about it.  Now that I know how to use it, I'm going to experiment with low fat and sugar free and see what i can come up with

I survived two days of babysitting a 4 year old and a 7 year old. We played Hello Kitty Dominos and Diggity Dog:

Prior to breaking out the games we drove to Tigard and watched (in 2-D) UP. The movie was fantastic! I loved it and it was very touching. I was pleased that they used very few "celebrity" voices. In fact, until the credits ran I didn't even realize that Ed Asner was one of them! He did a great job.

After the movie Taylor and Ben and I made a stop at Starbucks (for coffee for me) and Bresler's 33 Flavors (for ice cream for them).

Then one more stop at DOLLAR TREE where I gave both 2 dollars and they could choose anything that they wanted.

Taylor bought one  blue and one purple hair extension wig like think, and Benny bought a book and some sort of capsules that, when put into water, grow into foamy looking creatures.

Once back home we took Dog Boso for a long walk around Ben and Taylor's rather upscale neighborhood, and then back home for TV dinners.

I let them stay up late to watch the old musical ON THE TOWN which Taylor loved and Ben fell asleep during.
