You must really be down - a lengthy post with nary a cuss word.

I'm sure once you're up and about you'll find an appropriate place to shove those damn cruthches - is the Medical Insurance office within striking range?

DR MattH re: your comments yesterday on Y&R

Do you actually think that adam is bisexual?  I really have no idea if he was just screwing around with rafe. Or if he ended up realizing he might like it.  And i have no idea if the writers will even pursue this. Or perhaps they will have rafe move on to P3???  I really find P3 way too old for rafe (to me rafe seems like an early twenties kid). But i find it hard to believe they would introduce 2 gay characters and not have them interact.

No, Jennifer, I do NOT think that Adam is bisexual. That's why I put the word in quotes when I wrote it.

Good morning!

After that huge thunderstorm we had last night, the clouds have not moved out. Though we've had no more rain, it's still overcast here. Highs still in the upper 80s today. Ugh!

Today my work project will be the Blu-ray of the final 90 minute episode of PRISON BREAK called THE LAST BREAK. I've never watched a second of the show, but Fox must think that people will be able to follow the plot and figure out character relationships if they're releasing the final episode on Blu-ray. I'm going to read the backstory on the character before I start watching, however. I want to be as fair to the program as I can.

bk, Terry O'Quinn won the Emmy as Best Supporting Actor for Season 2 of LOST.

Seems like the entire cast won the SAG award as Best Ensemble of a Drama Series during the first season.

There is no recipe in the Penzeys catalog for Floop.

Strange, that.

Also, strangely enough, there is no definition of Floop here. What gives  ;D

Urban Dictionary

Well, technically there are definitions, just not the one we (or Sandra) would be seeking.

MattH,

In your review of The Towering Inferno you state:

Quote
Having to manipulate a handful of stars in the mix, however, necessitated his inventing an equal number of set piece moments of derring-do for his two top-billed stars as well as signature moments for all of the recognizable star cast.

So, they cast the picture first, then adjusted the screenplay as necessary?

According to the bonus features, that's exactly what happened, at Steve McQueen's insistence.

Very ominous and strange looking skies outside my office window, but the storm looks like it's mostly to the north of the city right now.

According to the extended weather map, you NYC peeps look like you are going to get battered (but not fried) later today.  Take an umbrella everywhere!  DR Elmore, you just stay put.
