Then I watched DRAGONBALL: EVOLUTION. Ugh! Based on a Japanese manga series, it was very juvenile and not particularly well done in any respect. A couple of neat CGI special effects, but a lot of the wire work looked phony and amateurish.

The Blu-ray transfer was very erratic in quality. Sound was the best thing about it - typical action-heavy surround track, but it was pretty forgettable.

I watched all of the bonus features, not that there were that many. Some deleted scenes, a gag reel, a game, and music video, and a 30-minute interview with the star from the Fox Movie Channel. That was all.

I skimmed through all three of today's soap operas that I keep up with. Nothing of interest in any of them, but Luke turned up in the previews for tomorrow's show.

I concluded afternoon viewing with last night's MEDIUM. Of course, I had seen it, but I wanted to watch one episode of MEDIUM on CBS before it switches to Fridays.

Hopping off-line now to get some writing done and then will head back down to start evening viewing, all pleasureable stuff (though I haven't decided what it will be yet).

Good Afternoon!

Well, the second line of storms just moved through, and it looks like we're supposed to get two or three more over the next couple of hours. Time to work on my umbrella arm again.

And, of course, now that the rain has started back up, I need to head out.  My friend, Leigh, from Virginia is in town for a few days this week, and we're meeting up for dinner tonight.  And thanks to a fellow Twitter-friend, it looks like a good portion of tonight's meal will be "on the house". :)

I came home early today. I just haven't felt wel all day.  I finished a meeting at the jail and called Edith.  I told her I really didn't feel well and she told me I really didn't look well either.  LOL.

I was going to stop at the store but the sky just didn't look that great. (it must be going around)  when I got home a tornado warning was issued just east of here.  It didn't include my immediate area, but I was glad to be home, nonetheless

Oh!I saw the cutest thing when I was coming home for lunch today.   This guy was walking a dog on a leash..in front of them, a cat was prancing down the sidewalk  Every so often the cat would stop, look back and wait for them to catch up and then would continue leading the group down the sidewalk.  It was adorable!

Will Brent's Christmas album be recorded in New York or in L.A.?
