Well, you've read the notes, the notes had boring detail, and now it is time for you to post until the boring cows come home.

Oy! The craziness has begun at my office (as if there wasn't enough craziness).

There has been some construction (I'm fine with that since it's not near me and doesn't affect my work). Now that the construction is near completion the carpet on the 3rd Floor is being replaced. It does need to be replaced, it's been 11 years with heavy foot traffic and a slob or two so that's not the craziness. Since we live in a cubicle world all the cubicles have to be un-assembled so the carpet can be torn up and replaced and then the cubicles have to be re-assembled. This entire process will take weeks and will be done in shifts. They have moved a portion of the third floor to various spaces and they will be gone for the next two weeks (at the very least). I looked at some of the work spaces and it's a Human Resources nightmare!

We have a conference room with a long table. I've been in the room for presentations and meetings and when it's full it gets warm (even with air conditioning). When it's full to overflowing with 15 people AND their computers AND some people use TWO monitors it's scary. They have taken over another smaller meeting room that is crowded when 4 people are in there with just a table and chairs. There are now 6-8 people in there with computers, monitors, tables and chairs. UGH!

I don't know when I'll be moved or where I'll be moved but I'm planning on asking my supervisor's supervisor if I can work from home. I have high speed and if I have a meeting I can be here in 5 minutes.

99 percent of the people I work with are lovely and wonderful but there are one or two with whom I would rather not be sequestered. It reminds me of a lifeboat and someone may go overboard. It ain't gonna be me!

Music and Video Watch

Nothing planned, but I have been revisiting some Varese/Other Label from the past and they are still enjoyable to listen to.

We have no viewing plans tonight. We will go to dinner, probably at East of Eighth and then tomorrow we may visit the new J.C. Penney at the Manhattan Mall on 32nd Street and 6th Avenue.

It was great fun to see Harvey Girls on the big screen. Brini is not the same kind of host as Hedda but she still provided a fun start to the evening.

In the Waltz scene I noticed that Judy was the only one with cleavage! Our Judy, with cleavage. Oh, My!

I hope that JR's opening went smoothly. I hope his Carol Channing look-a-likes were properly made up and I hope he is (deservedly) resting until the next foray into theatrical production.

I've been thinking of going to see JULIE & JULIA but then I think--is this the kind of film that I want to sit in a theatre while eating just a bag of crummy movie house popcorn?

Good morning!

The last of the cool morning for quite a while, and it looks to be another day in the 90s. Ugh!

My work project today will be the Blu-ray release of HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE. I'm not a viewer of the series, but I gleaned enough about the character from her concert film last year, so I hope I won't feel hopelessly lost once the movie starts.

There are a fair number of bonus features, so I don't know if I'll be able to finish the entire disc this afternoon or need some time this evening to complete work on it.
