Doubt it since I've never heard of it.  I keep thinking Platinum & Keith says no.  I know platinum is usually a lighter color.  I really should remember.  I'll have to ask again when he returns.  They are currently at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh after spending several days in Dublin.

*And I like The Violet Hour too

Somehow I'm not surprised you found your way there ;), not that it is easy to find the entrance.  We got lucky & found someone on the street to ask, after we walked right past the door.

That sounds like a very fun and exciting cruise, TCB. I hope you take a camera!

Thank you Ginny, Jane, and Laura.  Yes, I bought a new camera, but unfortunately it will have the same inept camera operator.

DR Jose, I'm counting on you to take photos of Philadelphia, especially of the Courthouse & the new skyline.  I was tired of lugging my heavy purse with the camera & of course was sorry I left it at the house.  I was not aware the skyline of the city had changed & forgot how incredibly beautiful the Courthouse is.

Did you know you can take go to the top of the tower in the Courthouse?  We found out the night before, unfortunately we didn't know to call in the morning & schedule a time.  The first available slot was just about when we had to catch the train back to Doylestown.  If I heard correctly only 4 people can go up at a time.

It's been a long day.  I pushed it a little too much, so I took a hot bath and am just going to kick back and watch tv tonight.

The tomato sauce turned out really well.  I added bell pepper this time. I took some of it and cooked some zucchini in it.  It was very tasty

Well platinum would look the same as white gold, so it's probably not that.

What about stainless steel? That would be a bit darker than silver/white gold/platinum.

Or could it be titanium?

That is why I suspect Keith is correct about the platinum, however I did see a few darker grey rings.

Could be titanium.  I'll let you all know when the mystery is solved or my memory returns.  I do like the darker color of whatever it is.

Thank you DAW, Cilla, and Jennifer.  One of the last things my friend Stan said to me was that he wanted us to take another cruise together.  He left me enough money to cover this curise, and I got an incredible (especially travelling as a single) deal, including free round trip airfare that just kind of landed in my lap.

Thank you Ginny, Jane, and Laura.  Yes, I bought a new camera, but unfortunately it will have the same inept camera operator.

DR TCB - One of the greatest benefits of digital photography is that it allows you to "practice", and you can see the results of that "practice" right away.  -You don't have to wait for a roll of film to come back from the photo lab.

Just keep taking photos.  Keep the ones you like, delete the ones you don't.  No paper wasted, no money spent.  You live in a very scenic part of the country, and I'm sure you could hone your photography skills between now and November.

*I've found that most people can take "good pictures".  However, there usually is a learning curve to deal with when dealing with the actual camera.  There are still some "basic" features on my camera that I'm still figuring out.

Ain't that the truth!  Oh yes, I have had too many surgeries not to buy insurance.
