Derbrucer's post talked about slowing down to read.   I find it hard to even slow down enough to watch a 2 hr movie.  I always thought that when I finally lived by myself, I would do all the things I had been putting off till that time.  But now it just seems things consume more of my time, and none of them are what I had always planned.  It truly dumbfounds me.

Just a silly thought from yesterday about technology and gadgets.   My kid's generation was introduced to electronics at about age 3, none of them ever showed fear of pushing a button to see what it does.  Technology came very easily to them.  If all that was taken away, would they know what to do with their time.  If I wanted to talk to someone we had a slumber party or walked to the mall.  Now they just stay connected with a gadget in their hand.

I can't sleep.  I feel like a kid waiting for a new toy.   The installers will be here in about 5 1/2 - 6 hours and I can't sleep at all, lol.

Well, I should say I was asleep, but Boo decided to be a wild woman and woke me up running around.  So, I'm now awake

I think that's good advice for me, too.
