Good OLTL today as Kyle made another play for Fish who initially responded but then Kyle covered for him in front of Cristian and you could see the ice begin to melt. This should get very interesting in the weeks to come.

I've got to write for a little bit and then head back down to watch one final noir film. Then, tonight's THE CLOSER!

Best break-a-limb wishes for your callback, DR George.

Thanks, Matt!

Before I headed out to lunch, I managed to watch last night's MAD MEN. Good season premiere. Sal gets one step closer to consummation!

Ooo!! :D I recorded this last night (we finally have AMC in hi-def!) and will watch it tonight after the callbacks!!

Break a leg and be impressive vibes to DR GEORGE.

I am off to an Act One Run Through.  We will be on the set, in theory, we shall see.  It is nice to only have to be an ACTOR in this show.  I am in charge of nothing but myself, so far.

We are back from Cincinnati with 2 carloads of Rob's stuff and Rob himself.  He's staying for dinner - hot dogs in crescent rolls and Mom's homemade baked beans.

Half the Gaily/Minsky's drama is over (the Gaily half) and now I've got to sit and wait to hear that the other half of the drama is over.

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while, summer kinda grabbed me and shook me around in a crazy whirlwind of all my friends having thier own delemas that I am always dragged into. Such is teenage life. I hope that everything's going alright for everyone on here, and I just wanted to say hi, and that I miss you all. And I must also thank you guys for convincing my mom to take me to see avenue Q before it closes. I've decided it's not fair to judge a musical before you see it. Now I just have to deal with the moral delema of seeing it on a sunday...

I send you all good day vibes, and may you all find that last little bit of summer crazyness you want to get out of the way before the season ends to be satisfying. Love you all!!!

Have you checked out the posts by MMM at FSM in the thread "Present Film music vs. Past"?   He gives a response to someone and then becomes preachy with bitterness over folks who have wronged him in that forum questioning his authority  (i.e., he claims his "facts" are challenged).

He makes some assertions about some posters needing a shrink.

I cannot for life of me understand how he can delude himself so blindly as to his bringing much of his grief upon himself in that forum.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but we just got word that Mum's last remaining uncle, Harold 'Babe' McPherson, passed away this afternoon at age 92.  His wife died only a few weeks ago.
Babe was always the raconteur of the family and also the keeper of all the family secrets.  He will indeed be missed.

All drama is over and all is well.  I really don't care for last-minute drama, but as long as it turns out fine, I'm fine.  Listening to the final master now, and it will be on its way to the pressing plant in the morning.

After I finish listening to the new release on the good speakers, I think I'm through for the day.  And that's a good thing.  I may actually have the evening all to my self.

I'm sure I have all sorts of trinkets around here from junior high school and high school....and elementary school for that matter.  My mother kept everything.  several years ago she gave me boxes and boxes full of stuff.  I threw out some of it (read 4 boxes condensed to 1) and they are somewhere, either in the garage or the basement.
