Thanks Jane and DAW. It's one of those long term possibilities and by no means a sure thing, but I had the impression that the designer would be there forever until I talked to her husband today.  That's when the thing I've been musing about suddenly became a real possibility

Who will be the first to order?  Someone alert the Vixter and Vixmom, who've been asking about when they can order - could someone e-mail Vixmom, as she sometimes stays away from the site for days.

Before I go...I just ordered BK's new book!  It was very easy to do. :D

DR Vixter glad you're okay. That sounds scary.

DR MattH, hopefully the physio will help. I bet it will do something!

DR Elmore hope your pain goes away!

So far, only George's order has shown up, but that's probably just the paypal lag.

Herringbone was so good.   I had no idea what I was in for.  This is exactly the kind of bizarre writing I love.   Great evening, I was in heaven.

I don't think I even blinked, afraid to miss something on stage.  The acting, music and band, lighting and stage, etc, etc, were just wonderful.

Imagine being in a small theatre, in the middle of an eucalyptus grove filled with cool breezes and the scent of the ocean.   Wolfgang Puck's outdoor seating restaurant for the theatre was 20 feet away, and it seemed the place to be before the show.

I stayed at the Sheraton La Jolla across the street.  Next time I know to wear really comfortable shoes, walk the 4 blocks, and arrive early for dinner.

Book ordered.

Lord Love a Duck is stuck at post office, I got there too late for them to want to fetch it for me from the back.  I'll have to pick it up in the morning.

Everyone in LA complains about the traffic, I left at 5:30 in the morning, drove at 80MPH the whole way to La Jolla.  Was there before 7:30AM.   And at 80MPH I was being passed by more than 1/2 the cars on the road with me.   Faster than 80 is not safe in my little Echo.

REALLY BIG THANKS TO THE DEAR HHW READER THAT POSTED THE HERRINGBONE INFO.

And thank you to FJL for letting me know it was in CA.   I really had a good time, from the moment I sat down in the theatre.  Everyone connect with the La Jolla Playhouse is just nice.  Almost all volunteers, who see the shows in exchange for their time (when seats are available).

Sadly the economy is bad there just like everywhere else.  Lots of stores were closing at 70% off sales.  The restaurants were all busy as I walked through La Jolla.

Maybe, just maybe, I will venture to Las Vegas this winter.  Just maybe.  I still like being home.
