Unlike DR DtM - I don't want the clean version I want the one with Parental Warning sticker on the package.

When the music industry was releasing two versions of a CD ("clean" and "unclean"

), our library started to buy both versions, because we'd get requests for the specific versions (it's all about the patrons). It got to be such a hassle that they finally decided to stop buying the "clean" versions and just get the "real" (meaning original) version of any CD. I used to order items for the High Demand list and it was a real pain to make sure that I was ordering the correct versions.

Luck has shined upon us. Anthony is getting ready to burn the compilation CD for a certain movie we love (see my posts from Labor Day weekend if you forgot which movie). He has been looking for the George Jones Don't Let the Stars Get in Your Eyes with no luck. Lo and Behold, he stepped away from the computer and I decided to try again. I went directly to Youtube, typed in the song title and the first thing to come up was Mr. Jones singing the song. It was added about 20 hours ago by someone named vortextx (thank you whoever you are). We now have a complete song list. I will have to e-mail a friend and tell him that we have the song and no longer need him to send us a copy.

No...but Dawn French (of French & Saunders and co-creator of "Absolutely Fabulous") had a comedic murder anthology series called "Murder Most Horrid," that's very funny!

And when I finished the meeting I came to the computer and had an e-mail I've been praying would come - I've just landed a CD release that is a holy grail for me, and which has now got my foot in the door at a studio that heretofore was a closed door. I am STOKED! Not sure how long it will take to get the tapes, get them transfered, and begin work, but I'm hoping in the next two weeks, which will mean I can get it released before the end of the year. Very exciting, as it involves a score I have loved large since the day I saw the film back in the early 1960s.

Anthony's library on Long Island has the series (I don't know if it's complete) on DVD. The next time we're out there, if it's on the shelf, perhaps we will take it out and watch it.
