DR TCB would the monthly rent be reduced for one cat?  I suppose you have left it alone since you still hope to get another cat.

Yes, Jane, you are correct on both counts.

I really loved "Cougar Town" and "Eastwick" last night.

Both worked very well for me and my sensibilities.  Paul Gross is a wonderful Darryl Van Horne!  And how fun for Veronica Cartwright to "return" as Eastwick's favorite harbinger of doom.

EASTWICK, on the other hand, didn't do anything for me.  I don't think it's bad--but I didn't find anything remarkable enough to keep me coming back.

Paul Gross?

After what I've heard about Mackenzie Phillips lately, I would think you'd be glad to not be mentioned in the book.

Ditto.  It seems a mercy, actually!

I've also put in an order for CRY FOR US ALL.  I've heard a very scratchy copy of this a few years ago but still enjoyed it.  Can't wait to hear a clean version!

Unlike DR DtM - I don't want the clean version I want the one with Parental Warning sticker on the package.

When the music industry was releasing two versions of a CD ("clean" and "unclean" ;)), our library started to buy both versions, because we'd get requests for the specific versions (it's all about the patrons).  It got to be such a hassle that they finally decided to stop buying the "clean" versions and just get the "real" (meaning original) version of any CD.  I used to order items for the High Demand list and it was a real pain to make sure that I was ordering the correct versions. :P

Luck has shined upon us. Anthony is getting ready to burn the compilation CD for a certain movie we love (see my posts from Labor Day weekend if you forgot which movie). He has been looking for the George Jones Don't Let the Stars Get in Your Eyes with no luck. Lo and Behold, he stepped away from the computer and I decided to try again. I went directly to Youtube, typed in the song title and the first thing to come up was Mr. Jones singing the song. It was added about 20 hours ago by someone named vortextx (thank you whoever you are). We now have a complete song list. I will have to e-mail a friend and tell him that we have the song and no longer need him to send us a copy.

Has anyone ever watched a British series from the 1970s called MURDER MOST ENGLISH?

Bruce, my order for Cry for Us All will be in the mail tomorrow. Ignore the writing on the back of the letter. It's called recycling.

No...but Dawn French (of French & Saunders and co-creator of "Absolutely Fabulous") had a comedic murder anthology series called "Murder Most Horrid," that's very funny!

This series?

I don't think so.  It is difficult to be sure without much info.

I've learned there are many more fires currently active in Oregon.  Curiosity regarding fires in Oregon was prompted by the fact the wind has changed direction and the smoke is blowing our way.

And when I finished the meeting I came to the computer and had an e-mail I've been praying would come - I've just landed a CD release that is a holy grail for me, and which has now got my foot in the door at a studio that heretofore was a closed door.  I am STOKED!  Not sure how long it will take to get the tapes, get them transfered, and begin work, but I'm hoping in the next two weeks, which will mean I can get it released before the end of the year.  Very exciting, as it involves a score I have loved large since the day I saw the film back in the early 1960s.

Well, yes, actually this series?

Anthony's library on Long Island has the series (I don't know if it's complete) on DVD. The next time we're out there, if it's on the shelf, perhaps we will take it out and watch it.

Gees, be careful BK, I'm reading about someone seeking a holy grail and a young girl who's sure his death was murder....
