I absolutely cannot stand that Matthew Broderick/MUSIC MAN. I knew he was miscast when it was first announced, but I watched it hoping I might be wrong. I wasn't. He was about as terrible as any star I've ever seen in a leading role. As for Kristin Chenoweth, her costumes dominated her. She's so tiny, and those period designs just seemed to overwhelm her.

Hmmm... That's quite a trek any time of the day. 10th Ave. is OK, but 11th Ave. is practically New Jersey.

There's also really nothing around there except for some car dealerships and the West Side Highway.

So, I fixed lunch and watched Friday night's MONK while I ate. An OK episode, but I guessed the killer easily. Very difficult for writers to pull off plots based around the murder premise of Agatha Christie's ABC MURDERS.

I then started on my work project for the day, MONSOON WEDDING.

It's an ambitious comedy-drama that tries to juggle maybe one too many stories within its confines. Certainly was intrigued by some of the stories, however, and it pulls you in as it runs.

Thanks, DRs Jose and Elmore! Your comments are about what I expected. It's more remote than I'd like, but we have an opportunity through church for a decent rate at the new hotel that's opened there. I'm going to continue investigating some other options, but need to get back to our church connection by mid-week.

Several years ago, Comcast (here in western Washington) used to carry Ovation, but they don't anymore.

Cason arrived at ten and we got all the packages addressed and stamped very quickly. He was out of here by twelve-thirty. I then finished typing up my fifteen pages of notes and sent them off. Well ideally obviously I would. But I read a lot and get all my books from the library. In the case of the book she is signing it is book 13 (or something like that) in a series (i have read them all but don't own the others).

In this economy, even though i love to read. i'm fine with being able to read all the books i want (just having to return them to the library when i'm done).

I understand why you use the library instead of purchasing, in fact I'm using the library more and more these days. I just think it would be nice for you to have an autographed copy since she is your favorite author. It might be too late to find one at a used book store, still I would call a few a check if you have them nearby.

Apparently she is only signing the newest book which just came out this week. And you have to have bought at the chain the signing is being held at.
