Since NBC has elected to drop TRAUMA after its original 13-episode order and bring CHUCK back earlier than planned and adding 5 more episodes to its order, looks like there will be something to watch on NBC on Mondays after all.

Is the Jim Norton who is playing Finian in this production the same Jim Norton who was in STRAW DOGS?

Yes. -And he's had quite a nice string of roles in NYC over the past few years.

Wow!
Small world.  I met him many years ago when he was in Los Angeles, staying with my friend/publicity client, Dan O'Herlihy.

I think we spent an hour or two chatting in Dan's living room.

Good evening...

I am hoping to get my computer this weekend....

I am still alive and on the mend. I had the flu and a sinus infection...

Vibes to one and all

I hope Finnigans Rainbow goes well and the cast has many broken legs

I am having computer issues.  My computer was slow and when i rebooted, well now it will not start (load Windows).  I tried everything in my extremely limited know-how.

Maybe I will see if my brother-in-law can look at it this weekend. it's probably something very simple. And not knowing what to do is making me feel very inept!

I think it's the most recent updates. They caused me some problems too, but my computer seems to be working fine now

Well the UFO HUNTERS just left Indiana and Myrna was nowhere to be seen.  I guess she got cut out.  Jason & Rachel were on.....they are working on a new show for the same production team, that may feature us now and then....time will tell.

The producers just kept saying TOO MUCH PSYCHIC stuff....it's UFO's!!!  Oh well.

Miss Dixie Bell celebrated her 5th birthday with family, friends, cake and ice cream and two new toys. . .a squeaky beer bottle and a squawking mallard. She is now fast asleep next to the computer. . .She thanks everyone, in her own way, for the brilliant birthday wishes shared here with her online family.

I am really impressed with an effort a group of high schoolers started several years ago and now two of them are in college and they are continuing the project.

The kids in this area have really taken to the project and it is called "Fill the Dome". They raise monies and collect food for the local food pantries. It is truly remarkable to see the floor of the Fargodome full from their efforts.

Folk Singer Taylor Mitchell Killed by Coyotes

A teenage folk singer was attacked and killed by two coyotes in a national park in eastern Canada.

Taylor Mitchell, 19, was attacked while she was hiking alone in Cape Breton Highlands Park, Nova Scotia, when she was attacked by two of the animals on Tuesday. She died of her wounds on Wednesday.

Nearby walkers heard her screams and alerted park rangers, who arrived on the scene and shot one of the animals. The other has yet to be found.

A police spokesperson said the two coyotes were "extremely aggressive" when rangers arrived on the scene.

"Coyotes are normally afraid of humans. This is a very irregular occurrence," Bridgit Leger, a spokeswoman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, told Reuters news agency.

Mitchell was airlifted to hospital in Halifax but died there. Paul Maynard of Emergency Health Services said she had been admitted with multiple bite wounds on her body.

"Words can't begin to express the sadness and tragedy of losing such a sweet, compassionate, vibrant, and phenomenally talented young woman," Lisa Weitz, Mitchell's manager, said. "She just turned 19 two months ago, and was so excited about the future."

Mitchell's debut album 'For Your Consideration' had been recorded earlier this year and the artist had been on a tour of eastern Canada when the attack occurred.

"She was so young and talented -- her big dreams were a perfect match with her big, kind heart," said Michael Johnston, the album's producer.

Biologists said attacks by coyotes -- also known as prairie wolves -- were extremely rare because the animals were usually very wary of humans. The area of the park where the attack happened has now been blocked off as officials try to find out what caused the attack.
