Well the mechanic says it looks as if my battery is kaput, and I have some leaking hosses as well - he also made some noises about the water pump -   he is going to take another look in the morning and then give me some ideas of prices

Sunday evening greetings!  We are back from Lima and this year's Middletown Civic Chorus performance of Handel's Messiah, in which my DH Richard was 20% of the bass section and didn't even get his name in the program.  Aside from the first violin, which was pretty bad, all the singers and musicians did an excellent job.

We were glad we'd driven to Lima last night and didn't have to get up at 5:30 this morning.  We were home from there in time for Richard to take a short nap before going to the warm-up before the performance.

Now that we're home for the evening, it feels like it should be about 10pm...

No football this afternoon so that AMAZING RACE FINALE should start on time tonight on the East Coast.

A story on the net says that a person saw two of the teams in NYC on Friday - so I am guessing they were the top two teams in NYC for the talk shows on Monday morning.

No, but it could probably be called a vicarage.  In this particular Anglican denomination, parishes have rectors (in which case, the house would be a rectory) and missions have vicars.  Because Holy Nativity only qualifies as a mission, Richard's the Vicar.

Well, I bought the ready to bake cut out cookies and then frosted them.   The problem is I ate too many cookies and WAY too much frosting.  Bleh!

What is the difference betweena parish and a mission?  The size of the congregation?
