Okay, enough is enough as Babs said.  Page three is no longer acceptable and if we're not off of page three NOW I will seriously...

Well, let's just say everyone is very lucky we're now off page three and we'd damn well better be off page four soon.

Goodness, this is a slow Sunday (and goodness had nothing to do with it)!

It is trying to snow in Tacoma, but it isn't trying hard enough.

I can't do this on my own.  Why don't the four guests help out?

Well, if we are desperate for some posts, I guess I could tell about the chaos in the church nursery. The story involves poop.

Better yet, why don't all the errant and truant come back and make some postings.  Sunday is not an excuse, oh, no, Sunday is not an excuse.

Chaos in the Church Nursery is the name of my next book.  However, I will pass on the poop story.

Oh, I forgot my chicken recipe for yesterday.

Take boneless chicken thighs (or boneless breasts cut in two).  Smear them with sour cream (and I do mean smear them).  Then roll them in Pepperidge Farm Stuffing Mix.  Lay them in a shallow baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

If the snow continues to come down at its current rate, it will take three years and nine months before it covers the parking lot.

Mr. Barnum has departed without posting.  Obviously my rapier wit was too much for him.

Football is running long today, so I know that none of the regulars are off watching 60 MINUTES.

So MBarnum came and went, did he?  Remember what time of year this is, O ye of much errant and truantness and non-postingness - someone is makin' a list and checkin' it twice.

Better, thanks, Jane.  I'm thinking it was food poisoning.

How are YOU feeling is the more important question.

I have managed to write 1500 words on HD MOODS AQUARIUM.

Hopefully the owner of Blu-ray.com won't mind that 1498 of them are "glub-glub."

Got very busy recently, believe it or not there have been some Dec. 15 deadlines - still have to do a return tonight, but it's an easy one.

I remember the seasons that Lassie was byself itself.

I remember when they had a Science Fiction story arc. :-)

Lassie gives birth to puppies and then over the course of episodes they are given away to various people.

Hello again--

I just left DRelmore after seeing Brent!  I never thought to take a photo to post (but I wouldn't have known how to anyway).

What can I say? Brent was terrific--I think he sang all the songs from the CD-but not in the same order.   He also sang "They Say It's Wonderful" and a song I wasn't familiar with, "Romantic Notions," which was great.  His encore was a song from "Dance a Little Closer" (in which he had a role), written in 1983.  It's "Anyone Who Loves," from his Alan Jay Lerner CD.  Brent mentioned how ahead of its time it was (it referred to two gay airline stewards who want to get married).

An older woman in the table in front of me seemed to really enjoy herself.  I heard someone say that it was singer Julie Wilson, who I'm sure many of you are familiar with.  I have to say I've heard of her, but don't know much else.

And Karen Ziemba, Kevin Spirtas and David Zippel were also there. I'm sure DRelmore can tell us who else he knew (he knows everyone!).

Brent told how the album was born. He said that he and Chris Denny happened to be at the same cabaret as Bruce Kimmel (Kevin Spirtas led the applause at the mention of your name, Bruce!) and Chris mentioned that he and Brent had talked about doing a Christmas album and Bruce agreed to produce it.

I had met Kevin Spirtas previously and asked him if he had seen DRelmore. He pointed him out so I went over to say hello.  We had a really nice conversation.  As I said, he knows everybody!   And I didn't ask him for a million dollars (see his previous post)!

I saw The Royal Family earlier. It was really great!  Rosemary Harris and Jan Maxwell (that's her name, right?) were just terrific (the rest of the cast too)!  And the set was fantastic (as a matter of fact, it got applause when the curtain went up).

I don't have a computer with me, so I'm at a Subway shop that has internet access, so I don't know when I'll be back.
