Well, my plan to bake coffee cakes and then go to the grocery have been altered by the fact that I'm short a cup+ of flour.  OK, now plan B...bye for now!

I meant to mention yesterday that I caught a few minutes of IN THE GOOD OLD SUMMERTIME on TCM-HD yesterday, and it looked stunning! Technicolor so gorgeous it made my teeth hurt, and a supersharp, dimensional picture that was just ravishing. I WISH I had had the presence of mind to record it so I could have watched it from the beginning. I'll keep my eyes out for a repeat.

DARN, I WISH I HAD RECORDED IT.

Notes on Tonight's TV:

Don't forget there is a new episode of THE CLOSER tonight.

CBS has an all-new slate of comedies and CSI: MIAMI.

NBC begins a new a capella singing competition tonight.

HOUSE is a repeat, but LIE TO ME is a new episode.

ABC has a Jennifer Hudson Christmas special on that's new, but CASTLE is a repeat.

thanks for the report, i'll double check the closer is set to record.

Actually it looks like it's Chloe Sevigny who did the "stunt," if I'm understanding the reference.

You are correct, DR JMK.  My original post has been edited accordingly.

Well... I have a couple of errands to run, and since it's a bit warmer outside today, I also just want to get outside for a bit.

And the only people who get the surprise are the people who did as I asked and sent their address.

Sometimes you get lucky Dept.  I ordered the FINIAN'S RAINBOW soundtrack from an Amazon seller.  The Collectors' Choice CD goes for about $10 or so.  The Rhino Handmade earlier CD release with 3 extra tracks sells for $70-$129.  So I had to settle for the CC re-release and paid about $11.

Today I received - yes, dear readers - the Rhino Handmade CD with 3 extra tracks!  Merry Christmas to me.

AND at the Wal Mart store this morning, I found a Seagate 500GB external drive for $50.....which is now being loaded with most of my photo, movie,  music, and "work" related files.

I didn't think then that I was actually sick, and I still don't.
