And here is a final bag packing picture. You recognize Anthony and me and here are some other volunteers surrounded by some of the finished work.

I love the way Kevin H. jumped right in and became part of the family so fast!

And the person in the photo with me is the loverly Kevin Hall, relatively new poster to HHW. He spent the day helping out at the Bag Packing and he came over for a visit because we stopped early today. He had time before seeing Brent's show this evening. We had a very nice chat and we decided to take a picture of him and I at the tree so I decided to put on my new wardrobe piece.

Ben, that's a very nice picture of you and Kevin!

George, thanks for the very funny card!

My pleasure!  I sent out several different kinds of cards (to everyone whose address I have), so not everyone got a funny one. :)

I've never heard of Barbary Coast - probably a one-off pilot?

We're putting postage on packages and almost through.  Then it's on to prepping the bigger boxes.

I have finally started to get the rest of the photos downloaded form my trip, so that I can start to make a photo album of them.

Ths small little boat on the right was the floating home of Princess Stephanie for the time that I was in Monte Carlo (she wanted to be close to me).  The yacht is about 200 to 250 feet long.

The tomb of Princess Grace.  Someone rather rudely put a vase of flowers right in the middle of the stone so that a good picture was impossible.

MR BK can you identify the October 20, 1958, ABC program called BARBARY COAST with Mr Larry Pennell and Miss Allison Hayes.  It definitely looks like a ZIV production, but I can't find anything on the inner web about it....save the photos on EBAY.  And since they are 4x5 and not television publicity size 7x9 - they must be reprints.  The number on the bottom is no help either.

It is a mystery.  Maybe Perry Mason can help.
Funny you should mention Perry Mason.

Alison Hayes only appeared in one pilot (According to my source) and story was based on a novel by A.A. Fair who was better known as Erle Stanley Gardner who wrote  Perry Mason.

The show was called Cool and Lam.

There was only one television series called The Barbary Coast. It started as a tv movie with William Shatner and the recently late Dennis Cole. When the series was produced Cole was replaced by the late Doug McClure

The only episode of a tv series that they appeared was a series called "The Case of the Dangerous Robin" and the episode was called "Design For Death" 8 May 1961 (Season 1, Episode 30)

They also did General Hospital, but I can't tell if it was at the same time or not.

Overheard at the zoo:

Little Girl: Daddy, I need to go potty.
Daddy: Just pee in your diaper.
Little Girl: What? There's no toilet?
Daddy: It's too far away.
Little Girl: There has to be a toilet.
Daddy: Just pee in your diaper.

And THAT is the difference between mothers and fathers.

Overheard at  the zoo (when I attend):

Little Boy: Grandpa, I need to go potty.
Grandpa: Just pee behind that tree..
Little Boy: OK
Grandpa: I said BEHIND the tree.
Little Boy: Oh, OK.
Gandpa:  Kids!

And THAT is the difference between sons and daughters

I'm just taking a short breather here after taking a nice stroll up on the High Line. Even in the not-so-dead of winter, it's still makes me smile.

I am going to go on the highline before the year is over.
