OH!

And there are a LOT of people in NYC today, this week. -And it seems like most of them don't mind standing in line outside in the cold for an hour or two.

DR Ben -- you and Anthony were right in my neighborhood yesterday when you ate at Eisenberg's!  I wish I knew in advance  -- I would have come by to wish you both happy holidays and happy new year in person!

Miss Julie, are we neighbors? We are just a walk up the street from Eisenberg's. I've been in Chelsea for 27 years now. I'm on the west side between 5th and 6th Avenues. I moved here before it was cool and trendy and it was still affordable. Some people used to say I lived in the Village but technically it's above 14th Street and west of 5th so it's Chelsea.

I have the DVR set to record.
The honorees are Mel Brooks, Dave Brueck, Grace Bumbry, Robert DeNiro, and Bruce Springstein.

Thanks for the reminder, DR DAW.

Are you on West 22nd Street, or further south?

I'm a bit east of there -- 22nd and 2nd.

I am frequently near you because I go to the Metroploltan Room a lot.

The dealer guy programmed the garage door remote so I can now open the garage door from a button in the car, so that's good.  The only thing that's going to take me some time now is that when you pair the iPhone with the car, there's no way to get the address book into the car system - it has to do with the way the iPhone software is set up - but I read up on it online and there are workarounds but they are complex, and since I really don't need all that many phone numbers in the car, I'll just do it by voice and it goes pretty fast.  I already did about five yesterday and it only took a couple of minutes.
