Or rather, "should have been deleted".

Or rather, "should have been re-thought and then avoided?"

Ooohhh...just came back from several hours of eating and walking and drinking (City Bakery hot chocolate---heavenly!) with DR Jose. Despite the B&G windows being closed, it was a fine stroll!

Thank you, Jose. My New Years Resolution will begin once I finish the macarons!

As DR edisaurus mentioned, we did have a nice stroll today.  It wasn't too cold.  It wasn't too windy.  And the sun was out today too.  A good day for replenishing one's Vitamin D supply.

It was a bit sad to see that the Bergdorg-Goodman windows were already in the process of being dismantled, but one of the windows was still in "full" view.  Although it was kind of neat being able to see some of the dismantling in progress behind the black shades.

Thankfully, the macarons at Madeleine Patisserie and the hot chocolate at City Bakery were still on display and available for consumption.

I've written five pages so far and am thinking a break would be nice - I'll probably do a couple more later - I've sort of been enjoying writing a few pages every night, too.

Did the Bergdorgs buy out the Bergdorfs?  And are they somehow related?

Jane, the special features include an interesting interview with Emma Watson, who plays Pauline.

i'll be sure to watch it.  do you think keith will enjoy this or shall i watch on my own?  he isn't a fan of ballet.

Are you suggesting that you actually do things "apart"?

A Story For Today:

Today I found a little lost dog trotting by my house. I took it for a walk, and the owner found us as he was driving around looking for the little lost dog.

The End.

And the Bollywood version of this story would probably still run 3 hours.

I don't know which was more frightening in last evening's posts

1)  DR Kerry's new drag avatar as Candy
                        or
2)  The photo DR Jose posted of the woman that they had cut open and found she was full of sushi and fruit.

BK, I hope the section that made muse Margaret uncomfortable did not involve your night of passion with Shirley Jones (was that the right Partridge member).

DR Laura, next time add a 50 foot woman to your story.

Or a 50 foot dog!

Now that I think about it, the dog might be the one across the alley that yaps all day and all night when the windows are open.

Maybe he's hoping you'll close your windows?

As for the Topic of the Day...

Hmmm...

I'd like to research and write up a history of the audiences for musical theatre and opera and the other performing arts over the past 100 years.  I wouldn't want some sort of dry, sociological study, but rather a compilation of sorts of "bad" - and "good" - audience behavior.  A collection of "Yes, they really did that!" incidents.

Yes, cellphones are quite the nuisance today, but, remember, people used to bring rotten food to the theatre to throw at the stage.

Waht do you mean "used to?"  George still brings rotten food every time he comes and sees me in a show.

From TCB:  "I don't know which was more frightening in last evening's posts

I just always like the French version of the "Lolita" poster!  Much neater graphic than the American version.

Duane called again. Last time I talked to him, he was drunk on New Year's Eve. He is looking for Mary. I told him he has a wrong number. Again.

MattH, I love your book idea about the studio singers. I really think that would be interesting. I didn't know about Gogi Grant.

Oh yes, she was a wayward wind.
