As DR edisaurus mentioned, we did have a nice stroll today. It wasn't too cold. It wasn't too windy. And the sun was out today too. A good day for replenishing one's Vitamin D supply.

It was a bit sad to see that the Bergdorg-Goodman windows were already in the process of being dismantled, but one of the windows was still in "full" view. Although it was kind of neat being able to see some of the dismantling in progress behind the black shades.

Thankfully, the macarons at Madeleine Patisserie and the hot chocolate at City Bakery were still on display and available for consumption.

I've written five pages so far and am thinking a break would be nice - I'll probably do a couple more later - I've sort of been enjoying writing a few pages every night, too.

I'd like to research and write up a history of the audiences for musical theatre and opera and the other performing arts over the past 100 years. I wouldn't want some sort of dry, sociological study, but rather a compilation of sorts of "bad" - and "good" - audience behavior. A collection of "Yes, they really did that!" incidents.

Yes, cellphones are quite the nuisance today, but, remember, people used to bring rotten food to the theatre to throw at the stage.
