Shameless self-promo alert:

Link to theater critic Frank Rizzo on Hartford Courant blog:

http://blogs.courant.com/curtain/2010/01/a-wicked-good-parody-about-mrs.html

where he says:

A "Wicked" Good Parody About Mrs. M.

By Frank Rizzo on January 5, 2010 2:20 PM

Here's a "Wicked" good parody on a youtube link  that gave me a laugh at the start of the new decade, sung by Jan Horvath, and created by Fred Landau titled "Crying Poverty"

I spent the next two hours and eighteen minutes watching CHE on the Criterion DVD. The story is non-linear in this first film as we go back and forth between the Cuban Revolution and Che at the UN in 1964 making a speech and being interviewed.

Knowing very little about the revolution and its progress during its two years in length, the war scenes were fascinating. The film did not seem nearly 128 minutes long.

I hope the second half is equally engrossing.

Is that film based on the cartoon character on the t-shirt?

DR MATTH - I didn't read the MAD version of CHEYENNE AWFUL, but my guess is that it was on the money.

Duane called again. Last time I talked to him, he was drunk on New Year's Eve. He is looking for Mary. I told him he has a wrong number. Again.

Well, next time he calls, tell Duane hello from me.

Or just give him DR TCB's number.

Jane, the special features include an interesting interview with Emma Watson, who plays Pauline.

i'll be sure to watch it.  do you think keith will enjoy this or shall i watch on my own?  he isn't a fan of ballet.

Are you suggesting that you actually do things "apart"?

lol, not too often ;)  while i'm  recovering i occasionally watch movies during the day, without keith.

I had a scary thing happen last night.  I went to bed early last night and watched the Fiesta Bowl before I went to sleep.  Wait!  Taht isn't the scary thing.  I woke up about 12:30, and I was soaking wet.  I got up and checked the thermostat in the bedroom, but it was off.  I walked out into the hall and the entire apartment was close to 100 degrees.  All of the baseboard heaters were going full blast.  The walls were so hot that I couldn't touch them.

I checked the living room thermostat, but it was off.  Apparently, when I turned it down before I went to bed, soemthing inside broke, so that all of the heaters attached to that thermostat were going full blast.  I found the correct circuit breaker and turned it off, but if I hadn't gotten up, Nicky and I would have been barbecue.
