BK, I'm not sure if the Kritzerland t-shirt you were sending here got returned to you. But it has not arrived here. I remember you saying you were going to mail it a few weeks ago. Just wanted to let you know.

Speaking of THE BACHELOR, (I don't watch it but it did start last week) there is this guy who has insider sources and knows everything about the show. He posted a crazy account of what really happened re: the scandal that a girl got kicked off the show for having sex with a producer.  And he even knows the final 4 and the final person chosen!

TOD:
I do not eat pork. That said, at one time there was a little Mexican joint (jernt, of course, in HHW-speak) on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica that served carnitas (pork) tacos which I dearly loved. They had cilantro on them. It was the first time I'd ever had cilantro and I've been addicted ever since.

I have finally had some uninterrupted writing time today and have done eight or so pages - I'm having way too much fun in the current section I'm in, which has to do with Merv Griffin.

Did he want you to be his houseboy?

Mum fried up some nice boneless pork chops for dinner and we ate as soon as I got in from work.

DF&H has returned. We took DD to the dog park over the weekend, which is always fun. One must be careful to wear "protective" shoes, though.

I had lamb chops yesterday for the first time. I rarely eat mammals, but there were no other choices yesterday where I was.

All the networks have new offerings tonight except for the CW, and fans of FRINGE are reminded that there is a new episode on tonight at 9 p.m.

Other reminders:

CHUCK back into its regular Monday at 8 timeslot. (I haven't watched last night's shows yet.)

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER's 100th episode. I haven't watched the show in several years, but I've got the DVR set to record it because there is a musical number at the end of the show that features Neil Patrick Harris.

A new CASTLE tonight.

And the new cycle of "The Bachelor" starts tonight...

I have to say, I find the promos for this new cycle to be quite annoying and, in a sense, condescending and insulting. The whole 1970's "friendly skies" tone - the new Bachelor is a pilot - seems too silly even to me.

What they should have done was have all the contestants be stewardesses.

Or stewards!

And now for something completely different...today's date is a palindrome:

01/11/10

Just had to share. :)

I like that and had not noticed.  Thanks, sweet George!

THIS LINK COMES WITH MAJOR NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK WARNINGS - THE VIDEO IS SUITABLE, BUT THE CONTENT IS NOT.

Hysterically filthy parody of "Save the Best for Last," in honor of Vanessa Williams being about to appear on Broadway.

It's really crass, despicable, and (I thought) hysterical.  I don't know how the lovely singer kisses her family with that mouth after singing this parody.  :)

Or maybe it's already been linked here, in which case, never mind!

How can something so wrong be so right?
