Another Triangle in the Apartment

This is either a Noel Coward One Act Play or a Patsy Cline song.

I think this is the outfit that MR BK should wear while writing his book.

OLTL today did have Oliver, the super hunky Cristian, and now their new roommate, the model-gorgeous Ford. I'm guessing Ford will start to have feelings for Layla or she for him, and there will be another triangle in the apartment.

Or maybe they'll have a threesome like DESIGN FOR LIVING?

I had time to skim though yesterday's OLTL. It was nice to see David Vickers back toying with various people, but I only stopped and watched a couple of his segments.

80% of what he says is either completely outrageous or hilarious. I love him.

BK's close personal friend pgenre on Broadwayworld.com just laid out another poster for saying the FINIAN'S RAINBOW score is as good as GYPSY. I agree with the poster and can think of several other scores that are as good as GYPSY.

If the threesome is Cris, Oliver, and Ford, then count me in!

I'm hopping off-line now to do some writing and then head down for an evening of leisure viewing. I haven't decided yet which movie I'll watch tonight before I watch MODERN FAMILY. So many choices....

I had to run over to Staples to pick up a libretto I'd left for binding on my way downtown earlier. The young lady asked my name, rooted through a pile of completed work, checked the computer, asked me to spell my name, and then she walked back to the place she first looked, picked up an envelope and handed the finished job to me!

What the hell?

DR Ben--thanks for the report on Finian's!  I'm glad you and Anthony were able to see it again.  Too bad it won't be transferring to another theatre after all.

Kay Francis had something....not sure what it was....but she is interesting to watch.  But there were too many teen age sopranos in movies in the early 40's.

We had Deanna Durbin.....we didn't need anyone else....really.  Yes Gloria Jean and Gloria Warren, I am talking to YOU!

BK, you have hit the nail on the head!  The real problem with Times Square in 2010 is that there is no longer a Nathan's anywhere around.

We are leaning toward accepting the counter, but with the caveat that all the "extras" in the house are included, meaning the two HDTV's, the appliances (new refrigerator and those cool front loading washer/dryer units), pool table & tanning bed.  Yes, there is a tanning bed.  ;)

tanning beds also cause skin cancer.  i would write in the contract that it must be removed.

it isn't something i would want to try & sell.  pool tables ate notorious for being difficult to get rid of, even for free.

You're just being contrary.   ;D  A couple of days ago you were giving me heck for *not* wanting the pool table.   ;)

No, we're selling the tanning bed.  How are your meds, anyway?   ;D ;D

How many guest rooms?  And where will the piano go if you keep the pool table.

Can you get a tan during the tacets while you play?

I was just looking at the listing photo for that room trying to figure that out, LOL.  I think we could just scoot the pool table over toward the fireplace, or even put it lengthwise so that there would be room for the piano next to it.  All of this said, it occurred to me today that this is the level with the kids' bedrooms and it may not be workable to have my piano down there.  We shall see.

I wrote a little over ten pages today, so unless I do some smoothing out this evening, I'm finished writing for the day, unless I feel inspired, in which case I may do two more pages and be ahead for tomorrow, since I do have a meeting at one that could take two or three hours.

My license plates came in today.  I must say I was worried about what the letters and numbers would be.  I'm a little wacky sometimes about reading initials and having them mean something nice, and I really hate the letters Z and X because I can get nothing good out of them.  I knew the first number would be a six, and I was hoping somehow the numbers would add up to or include my lucky number.  Well, I hit the jackpot - first off, the letters are incredibly great KST - which, in my interpretation would mean Kimmel Success Terrific or Kimmel Shall Triumph.  You could also substitute Kritzerland for the K if you were so inclined.  Either way, that makes me feel very positive.  The first number (pre letters) was indeed six, and the three numbers that follow the initials add up to - my lucky number - exactly.  I couldn't believe it.  Just perfect.
