As for the Topic of the Day....
Most memorable was the Fourth of July block party on Franklin Street in Richmond. They set up the smokers the night before, and by the time I woke up on the Fourth... WOW!! Truly some of the best chopped pork BBQ I've ever had - with the NC-style vinegar-red pepper sauce. The only seasoning on the meat was the smoke. They just placed the pork butts in the smoker, and then 12 hours later... Again, WOW!!!
Otherwise...
I tend to like it all. However, I'm partial to pulled pork and sliced beef brisket instead of ribs. I like ribs, but tend not to find them as satisfying as a good BBQ sandwich. -With slaw, of course.
