Then I began on my work project for the day. I got through 4 1/2 episodes of DYNASTY before time ran out.

Let's see. Gay Steven is now into his SECOND heterosexual marriage (Luke isn't going to come along until season five), this time to the fragile Claudia.

Adam has tried to turn saintly since his unborn child's life hangs in the balance, and butler's daughter Kirby (the mother) has divorced (or will divorce) Jeff so Adam will marry her.

Fallon got mixed up with a playboy/hustler (Helmut Burger) who took her dad for a million dollars and tried to flee the country before marrying her. Of course, she was so distraught about being taken in by this cad that she walked in front of an oncoming car and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Jeff, of course, realizes he's still in love with her and is by her side every second.

Alexis is sleeping with both her bodyguard and the studly Dex Dexter (Michael Nader who does indeed fill a pair of jeans about as well as anyone ever has). She's against Steven's marriage to Claudia (who isn't?) and Adam's to Kirby, but Blake is happy with both, so, of course, they're at each other's throats.

Oy! And that's just the first 4 1/2 episodes! I've got 8 1/2 more to go!

I just read that the fabulous James Mitchell has died at age 89. Oh, how wonderful he was! I saw him in CARNIVAL! and was immediately in love.

I'm hopping off-line now and doing some writing. Then I must head back down, clean the bathroom, put away the already folded laundry, and then get bacl to the Carringtons and Colbys of Denver.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We're back from Lima where we made a pastoral call on our centenarian.  She is one spry lady!

Now I'm watching skating - a recap of the past 2 weekends.

I'm at home watching TV...I've got a lot to catch up on.  The first two episodes of "Human Target," two episodes of "The Bonnie Hunt Show" and the last three episodes of "Fringe."  I am also recording "Live From Lincoln Center: Joshua Bell with Friends @ The Penthouse."

And that will be my day. :)

Emma Samms was such a poor substitute for Pamela.....I didn't mind Jack coming in for Al Corley (after awhile) - but the most insufferable character for me was Pamela Bellwood's.

Pamela is my niece's roommate's stepmother, as some of you may recall.

Time to head down to Penn Station to pick up my DC train ticket. After that, I will see this show my friend Chris is involved with. Since I know nothing about this singer, I hope she's good. I'd rather stay in and watch "Emma" on PBS, but i've already preordered the DVD so I'm set.

When I was waiting for lunch to cool, I scanned quickly through the SAG awards to listen to Jane Lynch's acceptance speech for the GLEE cast. What a classy lady and a great, down-to-earth speech. Loved it.

I recorded this, but haven't watched it.  I just finished burning it to a DVD for a friend so I'll fast-forward through it right now.

I'm thinking we'd better have a frenzy or three because if we achieve a new all-time low then I shall be very annoyed.

I spent a good 4 hours at the office working on the new software to do my books.  All the data for the accounts I'm most concerned about are inputted. I have more to do, but it isn't urgent at this point, so I came home and am doing laundry,

Thanks for the condolences.  I went to 4 meetings a year with NACDL for probably 8 years.  I got to know a lot of people very well. I pretty much stopped going a couple years ago, maybe one a year and I don't really spend time with the group.  Jack passing makes me think about the friends I really miss.  I think I'll look into going to the Austin meeting in February. I had decided not to, but there will be a tribute to Jack and I'd like to go to that.   I need to check on plane fares, hotel rooms etc, but I'm, thinking about it seriously

DR Cillaliz - you should go to Austin.  I've been in a real reconnecting mood lately.

I just spent 5 hours in the emergency room, which was fun.

Chest pains.

Thankfully, it was not my heart.  The doctor thinks it's gastroesophageal reflux disease, so he's referred me to a gastroenterologist and, just to be safe, a cardiologist.

Well, it's still in February and I've sort of sworn off traveling in the winter months.  My plan has been to go to the NACDL meeting in May in Memphis. I've never been there before.  After all the recent move expenses, I want to give it a couple months before taking a big trip

Kind of.  I think I posted here when Mademoiselle Bellwood came to dinner and she was flabbergasted that I knew her father had cowritten GANTRY.  I believe TD as well as several others provided me with live recordings of the show which Lucy presented to her father that year for Christmas.
