LOOK I MADE A BOOK WHERE THERE NEVER WAS A BOOK

Well, you've read the notes, I made some notes where there never were some notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - look I made a cow where there never was a cow.

I've finished packing my bag - I'm not checking anything - and tidying up my room, and now I'm just catching up on last night's "American Idol" and surfing the interwebs before heading to the airport in about another hour or so.

But until that time...

DR elmore - I'm so jealous that you go to see Fanny.  Alas, because of the scheduling of UPTA, I've missed a couple of the Encores' presentations over the years.  I really admire Elena Shaddow, and would have loved to see her in Fanny.  However, I will get another chance to see her later this Spring in La Cage aux Folles - where she'll be reunited with her Light in the Piazza co-star, Christine Andreas. :)

As for the Topic of the Day...

Well...

I've been trying to Search the archives here in HHW for the last time(s) this came up, and the search function doesn't seem to be working properly right now.  But... In the meantime...

Harold Hill: A man can't turn tail and run just because a little personal risk is involved. What did Shakespeare say? "Cowards die a thousand deaths, the brave man... only 500"?

And I have to say it's a very interesting "version" of "American Idol"... It's kind of nice to concentrate on the positive.

OK...

Time to pack up my MacBook, and finish getting ready for my trip. I'm sure I'll be checking in from LGA in a bit, so...

Laters...

It was a very uneventful ride on the M60 bus to LGA, and I was through security in about five minutes. So far, so good.

So...

The weather forecast for this coming weekend for the mid-Atlantic looks kind of daunting. They are predicting a minimum of an additional 10" of snow in Richmond, with the possibility of 15"-20" a real possibility. I know some people traveling to Memphis for UPTA from Virgina and DC that day... By car! I really do hope they get a head start.

Good morning, all! First thing on today's agenda is a trip to the barber, followed by a trip to Toyland to pick up some music.  After that, I plan to work here while I wait to hear news from my drummer friend Chris, who received a call yesterday from his doctor about some test results. Whoever called told him to come in ASAP and he's seeing the doctor at 2 pm. I volunteered to go with him, but he said he would call me after he heard the news. Keep those vibes coming.

We will be seeing Blazing Saddles this evening at Chelsea Cinemas (where dreams come true).

I don't think I've seen it since it came out.

I am not convinced, DR JOSE - that those extra commercials will be at the end of the late night period...did he say that elsewhere?
