I have a question for any foodies out there.

I am going to make a recipe for a peanut buttercup cheesecake. One of the ingredients says "fudge topping". But i have no idea what they mean. I found a similar recipe that uses semisweet chocoate mixed with butter for their topping.

Does anyone know what fudge topping is?

Hmmm...try as I might, I can't seem to create an interroBANG on my keyboard.  It keeps coming out as a =.

I'm sure that there was an interroBANG at the end of Patti Lupone's "WHO do you think YOU are"...

Cilla, thanks for the photos.  The table, plant & everything look good.  I enjoyed the background on Themis.  I had an incredible cat named Gaea.

I personally would use a different brand than Hersey's.

The old Hershey's hot fudge (in the brown tin can) was much better than the new bottled stuff.

Do any of our musically astute members perhaps have a clue where I could get this:  I discovered last night that some dear soul broke one of the acrylic/plexiglass music stands that attaches to our handbell tables.  It's 30 inches wide and about a foot high.  I've Googled to no avail.  ;)

No one was immune, either.  Ya got bitch-slapped for just about everything.

TOD:

This is probably considered part of the lyrics of "Pick-A-Little" more than diaglogue, but:

"She made brazen overtures to a man who never had a friend in this town till she came here."

Oh, yes, that woman made brazen overtures
With a gilt-edged guarantee
She had a golden glint in her eye
And a silver voice with a counterfeit ring
Just melt her down and you'll reveal
A lump of lead as cold as steel
Here, where a woman's heart should be!

He left River City the library building
But he left all the books to her
Chaucer!
Rabelais!
Balzac!

Mayor Shinn:  I don't want to hear one more poop out of you.

Mrs. Shinn (aside to Zaneeta):  I think he means "peep".

Ah...you're perhaps hoping that someone with a musical degree -- possibly from the Gary Conservatory, gold medal class of aught five? -- might know something about some plexiglass doodad or other?

Obviously, it's not me.

Just before going to bed last night, I realized I hadn't written about something that was fun and involved a lot of traveling.  I made a note about it and figured I'd maybe write it this morning and then decide if I could fit it in.  But again, chronology was driving me crazy.  I thought this even occurred later than it had.  Then I remembered I had written cousins Dee Dee and Alan during that time and I found those letters and postcards.  And seeing the date, I realized I had gotten a bunch of chronology wrong, all in a row.  So, this morning I wrote the new little bit.  Then I began cutting and pasting to fix the mistaken chronology.  I was worried about it because I'd sort of liked the way I'd written it and how it flowed, but putting it right makes it even better.  I did have to adjust a few things, but it's all done now and later today I'll read through it, finesse, and the re-print most of the pages I'd printed last night.  Whew!

As for the Topic of the Day...

Well...

I've been trying to Search the archives here in HHW for the last time(s) this came up, and the search function doesn't seem to be working properly right now.  But... In the meantime...

Harold Hill: A man can't turn tail and run just because a little personal risk is involved. What did Shakespeare say? "Cowards die a thousand deaths, the brave man... only 500"?

I used the Search function and found a day on which the theme of the day was "One Grecian Urn".  Lots of "Music Man" references that day (January 7, 2007).
