And now I'm making the rounds of various end-of-the-conference gatherings. I think.

I think I am gonna go watch last week's MEDIUM.   Earlier i watched WHITE COLLAR, which i still love.  Oddly enough i didn't care for Matt Bomer that much on either GUIDING LIGHT or CHUCK. But he just shines on WC. Such an amazing part.

I liked him very much on CHUCK and was actually quite angry when he wasn't made a regular once we saw him in a few episodes. But I guess there wasn't any need to have two guys who were, in effect, Capt. Awesome in Chuck's life, one personally and one professionally. Of course, with Brandon Routh, we do have that now.

When I went back down, I finished YOJIMBO. Hadn't seen it in quite some time, so I enjoyed it so much, and looking at it with a more ciritical eye now than 20 years ago, I just marveled at some of those compositions, the action set pieces, and the great performers.

There actually weren't that many bonus features. Aside from the commentary, there was a 45-minute excerpt from that Kurosawa TV retrospective special on his great films, two trailers, and a stills gallery. I was finished much earlier than I thought I'd be.

So, I put in disc four of ROME and watched episode 9. Such an enjoyable series. I had forgotten some of the events that took place during this episode, and I was shocked (incest, public humiliation).

Staying in ancient ROme, I turned on the DVR and watched this week's SPARTACUS episode. Such a sad episode this week.

Then I came upstairs and wrote up my work project of the day so I could post it and have today's work finished.

TOmorrow I'll be watching DAYS OF HEAVEN on Blu-ray from Criterion. I reviwed the Criterion DVD of the movie a couple of years ago, so it will be a pretty easy day tomorrow, exactly what I needed since the Oscars will occupy the evening hours.

I can't believe it's only 9:22 PM. It seems like it's much later.  Maybe I'll just go to bed

I had SUCH a late night last night that I'm going to head downstairs to bed now.

Good night!

We'll have a longer Sunday than usual in Lima tomorrow.  In addition to the regular 10am mass, at 1:30 Fr. Richard will conduct a memorial service for our centenarian.  She died a couple of weeks after our January visit with her  :'(

Dinner was excellent - went to Hugo's at five-forty and could barely get in.  I swear, people have totally changed their eating habits - ten years ago you were called names if you ate before seven-thirty or eight.

I then watched an excellent motion picture on Blu and Ray called District 9.
