For those who were disappointed with the circumstances surrounding the show's most celebrated gay couple (I certainly was let down), we have been assured by the producers that there will be other gay storylines forthcoming.

My mother made it home... no cancer in the lymph nodes and this is good news...

Not certain yet if she will need radiation or chemo

However, DH did get sad news on a freind who was battling cancer VALIANTLY for two years. She passed away peacefully on Saturday. She had cervical cancer.

Judged at a college speech tourney friday evening and part of yesterday. It was interesting and I hard some wonderfully written speeches and on very interesting topics.

I also attended a luncheon that is raising monies and supplies to allow girls to go to school in Sudan. Once they have their monthly periods, theya re not allowed to go to school. They were collecting underwear and reuseable supplies for the effort. It was a great turnout.
