Wondering what ever happen to the following Broadway musical performers
Ben Harney (Dreamgirls)*
Jere Shea (Passion)
Leilani Jones (grind)*
Brian Backer (The Flaoting Lightblub)* (Okay not a musical but still wondering)
Michael McGuire (Les Miz)*
Frances Ruffelle (Les Miz)*
Robert Westenberg (Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park With George) (hasn't been on Broadway for 12 years
* Harney won a Tony award and never did another Broadway shiow. Jones, McGuire Ruffelle and Backer did one show and won a Tony Award and never did another Broadway show
Well, after some Googling and my own personal recollections...
Jere, I believe, is still living in Boston, and is still working as a consultant and fund-raiser for various organizations. My godfather worked alongside him a few years ago during a campaign for the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. I've also heard from a couple of students at Boston College - his alma mater - that he pops back in from time to time for lectures and coaching sessions.
Frances Ruffelle is still alive and well and working in London. I believe she's concentrating now on more solo work, however, I know she appeared in
Chicago as Roxie Hart a couple of times across the pond. You could also check her
WEB SITE - which is still somewhat in progress. She's also on Twitter:
@frankieruff. *I really love that her daughter (with her director/husband, Trevor Nunn) is named "Eliza Doolittle".

According to
Michael Maguire's website, he finished up his law degree in Los Angeles last year.
Leilani Jones has been doing voice over work for video games, most notably
Monkey Island.
Robert Westenberg is now a theatre professor at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. I see his name on resumes from time to time. Always makes me smile. And don't forget his Cinderella and wife, Kim Crosby. She was Sally in
Follies up at Barrington a few years ago, and they played opposite each other in
My Fair Lady - as Eliza and Higgins - at the St. Louis MUNY a few seasons back.
And that's all I got.
