I forgot to mention, for you lower back sufferers, I have found sleeping with two pillows greatly reduced my chronic lower back pain. I angle the pillows on a slant, not one on top of the other.

Y'all have probably guessed that I'm back from Columbus.  The 2-part seminar at the library was quite good and being in the downtown Columbus Metropolitan Library renews my faith that not all urban public libraries have been relinquished to the bottom-feeders.

TOD - I'm a Skyline 4-way bean (spaghetti, chili, beans, cheese) kind of gal, but really prefer my homemade chili.  It's very tomatoey and a double recipe is just right for the crockpot.

And DR Ginny makes very good chili!...

First day of work for the Census Bureau was strange because the training kept getting interrupted, so very little was done. I actually read about 20 pages of a novel while waiting and waiting and waiting. Hopefully the rest of the week will be more active.

Craig briefly worked for the Census in Philadelphia.  He said he spent much of his time correcting errors other people made.  He still hasn't received his W2 & had to request an extension for his taxes.

TOD: I love many styles of chili from Texas to Cincinnati (don't share that with my Texas brothers; I may get kicked out of the state). The one thing I learned after moving to Texas is that beans have no place in great chili. I think that's something peculiar to this state, but your chili will get kicked out of many competitions if a pinto or kidney bean goes near it.

As far as I'm concerned, the hotter the bowl of red, the better. I love a Skyline four ways (chili, spaghetti, cheese and onions) drowned in hot sauce to balance the touch of cinnamon and chocolate in the Greek-style chili.

Here in Texas, I've had chili made with venison, antelope and assorted mystery meats, but the ground beef remains my favorite. It seems a perfect vehicle for conveying the spices.

Yeah, they didn't give me a W2 today to fill out, but apparently the tax information has been entered (I watched the woman enter it myself). I wonder what they're going to do later when it comes tax time.

I'm listening to a wonderful music station on my computer at pandora.com.  I'm still putting in various artists & composers to listen to.  At the moment I am listening to my Max Bruch station.  It plays Bruch and similar composers.  I can click on like or dislike & supposedly it will remember my preferences.

I also thought NEW MOON was much better than TWILIGHT (the movies). My 20something librarian had a different view point (since she had not read the books). But she did not care much for TWILIGHT but loved NEW MOON.

I'm guessing you hadn't read the books.

Not sure if this would make a difference as to whether a person is team edward vs team jacob but i suspect it might. I loved taylor lautner in the movie as jacob. I think he is much more suited to his role than robert pattinson is (IMO).

I have been putting one pillow on a slant behind the other and i found it helped. I've also put a pillow under my knees and that seemed to help too.

I think my problem is different than DRs MattH and TCB. I am not in enormous pain. And it does not hurt at all when i walk or exercise. But it sometimes really hurts when i sit or lie down and i always feel it in those positions. But it hasn't gone away in a few days (like DR MattH said his probably would). I will try the ice and the heat.
