Jane -

Reminds of what a neighbor said when we said Toby was getting fat:

"He's not fat, he's extra-cute."

Hi all!  Just popping in for moment or two.

I was on the phone with my nurse longer then I thought I would be.  Nothing to worry about, it just seems that Humanna--my health care provider--has started a new program to check on people with some medical conditions who are living alone.

I was doing the set up and it took a long time to go though my meds and what problems I'm having or not having.

I think I'm going to like it because I can call 24/7 with any problems and talk with a nurse right away.

Toby has lost his tags.  I know they must be somewhere in the back yard but I can't seem to find them.  I have a hard time getting the tags on/off because the arthritis in my hands so I put a little link on the collar.  I guess I didn't have it tightened enough.

I don't think he ate them.  At least, I pray he didn't.  There are so many leafs in the yard, I'm sure they are just hidden.

I like the thought they are checking on you & that you can call them. :)

We use the S shaped links to put the tags on the collar.  The needle-nose pliers work well to secure them.

Convenient DR George.  Maybe you can host a rehearsal more often.

No, I haven't been enjoying FLASH FORWARD very much, but since there are only a few episodes left, I'm hanging on to the very end. I think they had a fascinating premise and ended up not really knowing what to do with it to sustain it over the long haul. Since its audience now is about half what it was when it premiered, it seems a lot of people got frustrated with it very quickly.

DR Ginny I hope your mother, and you, have a better tomorrow.  I expect you usually check the prescriptions before leaving the pharmacy.  Of course the time you miss is when there is a problem.

I thought we had removed it from our DVR programming.  If we had, as we planned we wouldn't be watching it right now. ;D  For us this is a good thing.

I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Today was the first big payoff with Luke and Reid, and I did like it. They're quite sexy together (unlike his dalliance with long-time love Noah which I never found very alluring). Of course, they start something today and then they aren't on tomorrow. Where's the logic in that? Stupidity maximus!

Tomorrow should be a nice spring day.  Keith needs to take advantage of the day & work outside, so I said tomorrow will be the day I take Sherlock hiking my myself again.  Wish me a safe pain free hike.  I admit I'm a little nervous about it.

I'm glad you two are enjoying it, but it's more work than pleasure for me.

Then I watched THE BIG GAY SKETCH SHOW. A fairly decent episode, but did not have as many big laughs as the season premiere.

Then I finished watching the rest of the season three episodes of BONES. Well, once Zach and Hodgins began that experiment that was going to literally blow up in their faces, I stopped the disc. I didn't want to see what happened to Zach or the ultimate revelation on the show.

I'll like begin watching the season four episodes over the weekend.

Then I watched tonight's BONES episode. Tempi's new love interest I find more appealing than Booth's, but it's clear their hearts aren't really in it (at least not yet).

The murder case was OK, but there weren't really very many suspects.

And I ended my evening with tonight's SUPERNATURAL. Some good laughs and a terrific reappearance by Mark Pelligrino as Lucifer. Now we see how the rest of this season is going to go in terms of what the boys will be after.

Last night we watched BLIND SIDE.  I'm glad it arrived quickly from NetFlix as it made a perfect feel good birthday movie for Keith.

Thank you, DR Jane.  I should have known from the dollar amount that there was a problem.  My Mom was kind of out of it with her nosebleed and I was preoccupied with getting her home, so we both kind of spaced out.

I'm going to close up shop a little earlier tonight than usual so I can get to bed early and be ready for the UPS delivery tomorrow morning where I'll be sitting downstairs until he comes so as not to miss him.

Good night!

Listening to The Fantasticks in Jazz The Trotter Trio, as I get to see the show Friday night.
And then will listen to Jason Graae Live at the Cinegrill as I get to see bk's event on Saturday.
Should be a good weekend for me.   ;D

It was really really windy here the last 2 days, I think the pilot light on the water heater is out.
 :'(

This is the first time in 22 years (or longer) that I have not lived in an all electric building.  I'm still getting used to the smell of gas from the stove/oven and the clothes dryer.   Not sure what the water heater outside is all about.
