I like two of the three final teams on TAR.....my favorite is the team is second place right now....or even the team in third place...first place team is just lucky and should have gone home a long time ago.

Sad news:  Mrs. Justina Cosby of Nigeria is dying from lung cancer.  Happy news:  she wants me to have her 5.4 million.

I didn't watch it but Dateline had a segment yesterday where they confronted one of the scammers with a hidden camera.

I agree completely.  If the undeserving team wins, *I* may move to "the Iraq."  ;)

I believe this is old--I remember seeing it a long time ago.

Just read that Lynn Redgrave has died at 67.

She was a very nice, gracious & charming lady.

How very sad and unsettling!

Lynn Redgrave is dead!  No matter how many times I read it or say it, I can't quite believe it.

I'm very sad to hear about Lynn Redgrave.  Richard and I, thanks to DR Ben's recommendation, saw her Nightingale in October.  I will cherish that memory.

That's 3 tragedies that family has had in a year: Natasha Richardson, Colin Redgrave and now Lynn.  So sad.

re: last night's THE AMAZING RACE

SPOILERS

I like two of the three final teams on TAR.....my favorite is the team is second place right now....or even the team in third place...first place team is just lucky and should have gone home a long time ago.

I get why most people love the 2nd place team. They are very likeable and getting better and better at the race. To me i find the 3rd place team very lucky. Sometimes they are annoying, sometimes slightly cute. But i don't find them too deserving. And i do get why most people dislike brent and caite. But to say they are lucky. They are the most competitive team. They are physically capable. And when they are not fighting i find them to be the strongest team by far. Their downfall in the early episodes was that they would shut down whenever they faced a challenge. But they have not been doing that lately, which is why i think they've risen to the top. The only part i hated from last night's show was when she would not let him go to the bathroom. If i had been him i would have just left!

I really want to see the Millenium 2 movie. But the people who suggested it get to reserve it first. Hopefully nobody else is on that list so i can get it this week. I can see on my computer if it is in or out and i can call and have them hold it for me if nobody else has it reserved.

Happy first Birthday to Manny - the dog in the avatar.

I was shocked to hear about Lynn Redgrave when I awoke this morning.  She will be missed.

I had time to watch BROTHERS & SISTERS after I got cleaned up. Fairly tiresome stuff with Cooper adjusting to Luc. Justin is the most wishy-washy character. Never seems to be able to find any kind of niche and seems governed by events that happen to others rather than coming up with ideas for life on his own.

And the set-up to write Rob Lowe off the show is pretty obvious and yet slow-moving as well.

I also started on the NCIS rerun of the season premiere, but I only got about 20 minutes in before I had to turn it off. I should be able to get back to it tonight.

After I finish WALKABOUT, I'm guessing I'll be watching TV on the DVR until I can get to join CHUCK around 8:30.

Good Morning! Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up... And, well...

Very sad to wake up to the news of Lynn Redgrave's death.  She was Joanne in Company during the Sondheim Celebration at the Kennedy Center. It was always a joy to watch her in rehearsal and on stage, and even more special sitting next to her and chatting.

Oh... And just remembered, realized that my "quote" is something I heard from Lynn Redgrave. Her father, Michael, passed those on to her on his death bed. :(

Well, I waited around all morning for a call-back from the nurse at our doctor's office.  When I asked her if, given the test results and my increased dosage, I should be concerned about the discomfort in my leg, she said, "I'll leave a note for the doctor and we'll get back to you."  I'm not sitting around all afternoon waiting for that call - they have my cell phone number.

From the looks of our refrigerator, I'd better get to the grocery store...bye for now!
