Well, you've read the notes, the notes were ephemeral, and now it is time for you to post until the ephemeral cows come home.

And now - I shall achieve my new mini-plateau.  I'll let George immortalize it.

I'm off to bed.  Today will be an early day for me.  I took the day off from work because my aunt (one of my dad's sisters) is coming up from California for a visit!  My niece and I are going to pick her up from the airport.  I have to pick up my niece at 9:45 a.m., and then be at my parents' house by 10.  My mom said that I could drive her car (it's much nicer than mine).  My aunt is visiting until next Thursday.  And at some point very soon, I have to clean up my place because even after my mom came over and made me clean it all up, I didn't keep it clutter-free.  It shouldn't take me too long, but I just have to do it. :)

Our local Shakespeare in the Park starts tonight, and I plan on being there. Hope I can stay awake. This year's choice is "Romeo and Juliet," which should be beautiful at the Botanical Gardens with its verdant backdrop. I just hope it's not 90 degrees or hotter after the sun begins to set.

I'm about halfway through the book, BK, and I am loving it. I especially got a kick out of the "Pachanga!" story, because it's a word you frequently hear here in San Antonio and because a friend and I have a similar story about the word "chervil." If I say it to her or she to me, we'll both dissolve into laughter.

So, on that note, pachanga, everyone!

Good morning, all! I have more work this morning on that Act One finale of Mr Herbert's before I make a trek to Toyland. I have to find that OH BOY! score, although I am beginning to wonder if in a fit of distraction I pitched it.

Last night was another night of weird dreams, one about this July trip to Canton, OH, to lecture on THE WIZARD OF OZ and being totally unprepared. Another invovled my hometown friend Margo Skinner, her ex Dan Von Bargen, and our DR FJL! Before the alarm rang, I was having peculiar dreams about a haunted apartment, a car, Marian Seldes, whom I love, and one of my brothers, I think. It was an epic night.

I have nothing else to report. I will check in from Toyland.

Good news about the P/P cast album.....I have both the LP and one of the CD's - but I will happily invest in the new Kritzerland release rather than the revival......

I am a lot more excited by Kritzerland's upcoming PROMISES, PROMISES release than I am about the revival's recording...

Scattered dreams such as these often indicate that the brain is full and that a more regular schedule is called for.  One is trying to do too much, in other words - you have too many of your bureau drawers open.
