DR Cilla, were either of the dog bites serious?  If the people can't win Wiggles total freedom they may be able to bargain a reprieve of sorts.  Best Friends might be willing to take Wiggles & the court might agree.  Do you have anyway of letting the people know about this option?

I do appreciate the advice, Larry.  I'm waiting to hear from a lawyer.

I love you, BK! I only want this to come out well for you.

For the first time this week.....no thunderstorms OR thunderstorm warnings in the afternoon!

I wish we would have one decent thunderstorm in the South of Jersey.  They call for watches and warnings, but by the time they get to my neck of the woods, the storms have petered out...

It is so very sad and scary.  Have you signed a petition to stop Crush Video's?  I don't know what the supreme court was thinking when they made Crush Video's legal.

His name is on this site, Christopher Sauer, and a Chrostopher Sauer at the U of Mass, Dartmouth, has this Facebook page:

Well, all good things must end. The overtime is coming to a screeching halt at the census bureau as we finish up one area of our work. Maybe I'll even get one day off a week. That would make many things better.

I think I have seen Chris's face on the Stop Crush Video facebook pages.  I hope someone has told his mother what he is doing.  I left a message with the Humane Society even though they are on a different street.

I've been away from the computer tweaking the arrangement of our living room.  It looked OK yesterday, but now it's more balanced.  Moving furniture sure churns up a lot of dust.  Maybe that's why I should do it more often!

This is for DR Cillaliz.  I believe you saw the movie THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATOO, right?

And you said you just finished the book.  (People who have not read the book and watched the movie might not want to read this) although i believe DR Jane knows this already, it's re: the ending of the book vs the ending of the movie (but does not spoil the main case).

After reading the book I"m curious what you thought of the ending of the movie.  I remember seeing the movie shortly after i read the book. And in the book there is a key thing that Lisbeth sees that makes her want to leave (seeing mikael and erika together).  But in the movie they didn't do this at all.  I remember thinking after watching that movie that this was so weird. Because it was a key motivation for the beginning of the next book.

No, I haven't seen the movie yet

Back from picking up mail and having a sandwich.  Haven't heard back from the helper's mum, which means she hasn't heard back yet.  If I haven't heard back by this evening I'll give her another jingle.

No, the bites weren't serious. I think they have to break the skin to be vicious. The last one wasn't even reported by the girl bitten or her parents. She said something to a teacher who called the police.   There is no reprieve under the current ordinance.  If declared vicious, you die.  The council is looking at revising it.  Wiggles the vicious.  sheesh

DR Jennifer, I haven't seen the movie so I didn't read the rest of that post.  Thank you for the spoiler.  I have the movie on my Netflix list, but it doesn't come out until July 6

Mom and Dad went to the amusement park where he got a tavern sandwich (a loosemeat sandwich) and a nutty bar.  Two of his favorite things.  My brother and his family were around all day putting the sailboat in the lake and tonight they are going out for dinner.  He's having a lovely day.  I'm going up on Father's Day

I'm listening to music and doing stuff on the computer.  Later, I'll finish Showgirls (if I can stand it), and then watch something else, maybe The Railway Children on Blu and Ray.
