And speaking of plays, I am taking my 8 year old neice Taylor to see the  Broadway tour of SOUTH PACIFIC when it comes to Portland in August. I think we will both enjoy it.

A guy named Gilfrey will be the star. I didn't recognize any of the other names.

That's my friend Rod Gilfry; I've tried to make you interested in him for several years now, you oaf.

And speaking of niece Taylor, I am on my way to making her a Bollywood fan. She indicated a couple of months back that she would enjoy having some India Festival music (as she calls my Bollywood music when she hears it in my car).

So, this weekend  I got her the CD soundtracks to DOSTONA and JANNE TU YE JAANE NA. She absolutely loves them and she has been making her parents play them in the car whenever they drive someplace, while she looks at the CD inserts with the Hindi lyrics written out and has been pronouncing the titles to the songs pretty darn well. She just found it all very fascinating.

Part of the fascination had to do with my taking her to Festival India last summer and then the other month she went to a birthday party for her friend Shreya and Taylor was the only non-Indian there.

Taylor's mom Jamie, by the way, found the pictures of John Abraham in the CD insert quite fascinating.

When you are murdered, no one will be found guilty.

For those of you uninterested in pirates....here is a video of some highlights from Sunday's Broadway Bares.

It may not stay on You Tube for long.

I think it would be a good idea to date one of the guys from BROADWAY BARES.  That way you would know, before you took him home, how many tatoos he had and where they were located.

I do not like tattoos, and actors especially are truly stupid for doing them.

I've been having a fun e-mail volley about the benefit - they sent me a suggested song list and I could see right away they were getting confused with the cut songs and the flop musical songs - they had half and half.  I explained that we had to do one or the other or that we could split the acts and do half cut songs and half unsung songs - that might be fun, too.  So, we're having a phoner in the morning to hash out the details.  I want to make absolutely sure this is all real before getting too heavy into it, but I've already asked Adam Cates to choreograph.  They've already spoken to a musical director, which I kind of wish they hadn't.  However, if he says no, then I'll either ask Todd Ellison or Lanny Meyers to do it - if not them, then maybe Larry Goldberg, who did The Brain in NY.

I think Larry is on tour with SOUTH PACIFIC.

I love good driveway conversation.

Tomorrow I may be complaining when they asphalt it.  I bet it will be stinky.

The Stu Phillips CD is the slowest moving CD we've ever released - it's astonishing in its slowness, and I can only hope that we'll sell more after word of mouth gets out about how great it is, and make no mistake, it is great.

I must say some of the news feed items of my "friends" are truly irritating.

I find many of the variations interesting.  I get a kick out of two opposite views posted on the same day.
