Yeah, I ditto on the A STAR IS BORN comments.  WHile it was interesting to see the "what-was-suppose-to-go-here" segments the first time, they become pretty tedious on repeat viewings (especially that far-shot footage of Judy getting out of the car to barf on the way to her premier...)

WHat does sound interesting on the Blu-Ray is the takes of "The Man Who Got Away".

Weren't all those alternate takes on the last DVD?  I'm pretty sure they were.

After all the hype last night the storm did not hit Sioux City.  We got some heavy rain, but the tornados were east and west of here, the 98 mph wind was north west and other bad weather was south.   I'm glad it missed us.  98 mph winds are not something I want to experience

Better get ready for work.  It's an office day.  I like that, but I have a lot to do - lots of odds and ends to catch up on.

We had the promise of thunderstorms last night.  Dark, threatening skies, severe thunderstorm warnings, all the hoopla.  But after a brief trickle of rain...nada.  The skies cleared and that was it. I had to out and water the tomatoes and petunias.

Grrrrrrrr....

I just checked and they are included on in the 2000 DVD.  which begs the question: Why didn't I watch them?

I too enjoy the alternate takes of The Man That Got Away......which I do not think is grammatically correct....it should be The Man Who Got Away....but that is neither here nor there.

LOTS of posts yesterday!!!

I first heard the word chatalaine when I directed MAN OF LA MANCHA last summer.

Well the road between rehearsal and me was closed due to high water last night, so I had to turn around and take the interstate....instead of the alternate route I have been taking for about a year since the DIRECT route has been closed since last summer - who knows WHAT they're doing to it.

So the NEW non high water alternate route adds about 14 miles EACH WAY and I will probably have to drive it until the end of the week.

Good news about Kritzerland at the Gardenia.

A lot of DR JOSE's posts and photos on Facebook right now are from some portable device.....not sure if that has anything to do with his vacancy of HHW.....and I don't know when he will return to NYC.

DR CP - I read about that particular production in Mr Coward's diaries, too, and that made it even more interesting to see.

DR Druxy - hope your doctor visit goes smoothly!

They removed the bandage, but they said I have to keep a very low cardio until Monday.

Not a problem. since I'll be spending the next few days correcting my galley proofs.

Yes, but posting from a portable vice without an "app" is takes a lot of time as there are many steps.  I'm not making excuses for DR Jose's disappearance from these parts, however.

Is anyone interested in writing an iPhone app for HHW??   LOL
