I shall now be on my way to a lunch in the Bur of Bank, after which I'll ship a package and hopefully pick up a couple of packages.

DR Druxy - hope your doctor visit goes smoothly!

They removed the bandage, but they said I have to keep a very low cardio until Monday.

Not a problem. since I'll be spending the next few days correcting my galley proofs.

CONTINUED HEALING VIBES!!

Back from errands and glad to be in the AC.  SW Ohio today has "air you can wear."

I don't know if he saw me.  There are a number of black priuses in SC and one I see often right near my building

I've been reading police reports at the US Atty's office for 3 1/2 hours without a break.  My brain is toast, but I understand the evidence against my client.

I took a few photos during my hike today and then I took a few photos of the work on the driveway.  I'm not sure about sharing any of them today as a cold has hit me with a vengeance.  I have to hold Kleenex to my face with my left hand which makes it difficult to do much else at the same time.

Funny, while I'm typing this I'm having a short break from the kneenex and typing with two hand.  Typing one handed with the right hand bothers my shoulder & I can't do it for long.

Bruce, I'm very disappointed I will not be starting your book today as I had planned.  I can't hold it with only my right hand.  I would prefer not to feel so lousy when I'm reading it anyway.

And the word of the day is: CHATELAINE!

And The Song Of The Day Is:  MISS CHATELAINE

(What Else- Thank You KD LANG)

On that album was the first time I ever heard that word.

BK:  I fully took the point you and Dan (The Man) were making re: inclusion of the short version.  I simply don't share any warm feelings for that cut film after having seen the restoratiion.  What the studio did to the two stars' performances cutting key scenes was a cultural crime.

Being given both the theatrical and roadshow cuts of "South Pacific", however, I can appreciate that folks can love something they admired for so long because I know many folks who prefer the theatrical cut.  I can't ever watch the theatrical cut having now seen the roadshow presentation.  I always thought "South Pacific"  entertaining, if not particularly enthralling, in its cut state.  I was totallly thrilled when I saw its restoration, and I knew the old cut would never be a satisfying expenditure of time for me again.  Ditto "A Star is Born".

Perhaps they should have thought of adding the emasculated "A Star is Born" as a bonus.  For those who want it, I hope it comes your way one day.

Team CLOSER are struggling with spots next door that I could have done in an hour. Really crazy not to be using a system when all the many hours of media are already in here and organized. And I'm done for my session for the day. Buh-bye. In an hour I get to go to a get-together to celebrate all the series launches, but as far as I know, I'm the only one not going forward since the other editors who were dropped from series are in-house and will be put on other things. It may be uncomfortable but I really want to leave the door open for future work so it seems like a good idea. Right now...
