Tomorrow should be an interesting day at work.  Our first furlough day is scheduled for the CILLA NATIONAL BIRTHDAY HOLIDAY on July 12.  Well, the union has filed a lawsuit against the state, and we should hear something tomorrow.

I'm holding mine till bedtime. I think I'm going to take a hot bath and chill out.

Fighting a lawsuit should help the state's finances.

Today's good-feeling post:

How a Bowl Should be Licked:

(How sweet the owner grabbed a camera
instead of chasing the puppy away. )

That is what I thought.  It seems to me having it at bedtime isn't the best way to keep your glucose levels safe during the night.

What are you talking about.....they put the puppy on the counter and began taking photos.  I hope a second person was close buy to prevent the pup from falling.

Still, very cute. :)

It amazes me that my union did nothing when the Legislature voted to take away our raise that was agreed upon during collective bargaining.  Now suddenly they have decided that the Legislature doesn't have the right to inact an emergency temporary furlough program to try and avoid state layoffs.

I think my union has their priorities screwed up.

Recall Alert: 'Chicken of the Sea' Canned Tuna

Quote
What exactly is being recalled?
Twelve-ounce cans of white tuna packed in water, which were sold in February and May in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Utah, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, Colorado, Indiana, California and Oregon.

All the recalled cans have the same UPC code and "best by" date: 4800000262 and 2/10/2014. To double check, look for product codes 7OA1E ASWAB, 7OA2E ASWAB, 7OA3E ASWAB, 7OA4E ASWAB, 7OA5E ASWAB, 7OAEE ASWAB and 7OAFE ASWAB.
...

FYI: 12 oz cans are larger than the 6 oz cans

Speaking of Arnold M. Brockman - his darling son Craig, who has an iPhone 4G called yesterday and did a Face Time phone call - we could see each other while conversing - really fun - and I got to meet his new wife on the phone and see her.

we ARE the Jetsons!

Then where's my robot maid??

I'll tell you what else Promises has done for Kritzerland is gotten people to the site who apparently had no idea we existed - show people, that is, which I find rather astonishing.  But we've had several large orders where they're ordering every show that's still in print and that includes The  Last Starfighter and Stages/Together Again.

Ice cream ?
Exactly. Need to make some this weekend. Peaches are in season. Homemade peach ice cream with maybe a drop of amaretto or almond extract in it.
