Eons ago, ie, back in high school, I made a commercial for a hula hoop spin-off called a Boola Ball. WHAT?? No one's heard of it?? Well, that's how spectacularly successful the commercial was. But I was paid well, and that's something.

Bruce I find it strange my brother can finally see THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE at a movie theater about the same time you can watch the DVD.  NetFlix still doesn't have a release date.

I am excited. I won a $20 giftcard to be used online. And I had wanted to get a hoopnotica. But they were sold out at the place that sells them in canada. Well they got more this week. lowered their price to $35 and added a dvd. So by tuesday or wednesday i will be the proud owner of a hoop

It's a hula hoop!

In other matters, Richard wants to attend an ordination in the Orlando, FL, area in a couple of months and has asked me to plan a little vacation around the event.  I am totally unfamiliar with the area and would appreciate any/all advice DRs might have!

I heard that someone was thinking of building an amusement park in Orlando, but I don't know if it ever opened.

We have arrived in Medical Lake after the coolest ever stopover in the quaint and completely charming tiny, tiny town of Wallace, Idaho.  I really recommend all DRs visit it--it is incredibly cool if you like historic old downtowns.

Here is Wallace's site:  http://wallace-id.com/

Every last building downtown is on the National Historic Register!

I was so violently ill last night that I considered going to the hospital.  I thought it was probably food poisoning, but now I think it might just be a bug.

There was a brothel museum in Wallace.  ;)

Today has been a day of me doing nothing...but that is about to change.  I'm going to take a shower (TMI, I know), get dressed, then go downtown for a bit of Olympia's Capital Lakefair celebration, then I'm going to see TAO's production of "Othello."  HERE is a write-up of the show before it opened and HERE is an actual review.  I've never seen any production of it (not even a movie), but it should be good...although Shakespeare tends to go over my head, so we'll see.

I remember the song "Desdemona" from the TV show FAME, so maybe that'll help me be able to follow the story. ;)

I can't figure out anything I want to try putting on my delicate stomach this evening, so maybe I will wait until tomorrow.

No-o-o-o, DR TCB!  Dairy products are the last thing you should introduce to a queasy stomach.  Try applesauce, clear soup, or jello at first.

Hope you feel better soon!
