Well I have been dealing with a houseful of teenaged boys most of the day, so I have a very convenient excuse for not listening.  :)

Research: FifiLePew registered for this board in 2007 but never made any posts.  Today Fifi tried to log in several times with a password fail each time.  I guess one can write private messages without logging in?

Mystery solved - all roads lead back to - 3D Diffusion.  Unbelievable.  Guess I now have to block Fifi, although she can't remember her password.

Thanks for listening and letting me know it's okay.  And I guess the link on the page before this works, yes?  I liked Joe a lot, and he sent word that mine was one of his favorite interviews in the whole time he's been doing this show.  Very nice to hear.

And yes, darling, dearest Jane, because you didn't have time to listen.  How times have changed. :)

she did not say that she did not have time to listen -  she said that she could not find your name onthe link

Jane is a fine detective :)  She has been since she was fifteen.  And everyone knows I love and adore her no matter what.

I wonder how many other usernames she's registered with over the years.  Anyway, I should have known instantly - the superior tone, the language.  But even that is not necessary, since detective work on this board is quite simple and Google is amazing.

So, no one bothered to listen to my hour-long interview on KGIL - I even provided a link and everything.  Well, I've heard from some complete strangers who liked it very much, so that's nice at least.

As I said, podcast available at  www.retro1260.com

I've downloaded it and am listening to it now!

Back from dinner with Alet.  The pianist was sick, so we just went and ate and talked about a lot of stuff.  And we now have our replacement for David Engel - a wonderful actor/singer named Damon Kirsche, who's done quite a few things here in LA.

Was Alet's husband Andy thought of?

Almost time for COPS

More important, it's almost time for BEING HUMAN (new supernatural BBC series).

I enjoyed it.  But it's not that new...they're on the second season, now.

Not quite right for this show and a little too much like Jason Graae - but I'm sure he'll do one of our shows - he's so wonderful.

I've never heard of banana bread mix. Is it any good?

If you still need eggs and bananas then really you could just make the banana bread without the mix. Not that many more ingredients.

It's just like a cake mix.  THIS is what I got:

And now, I'm off to work.

Have a good day, all!

George, why are you working today?  This is Saturday.

I am not a morning person, so I don't get to work very early.  I usually get there between 10:45 and 11:15 or so.  If I think that I'm going to get there much later, I'll call, but my supervisor isn't one of those dictator-type supervisors....for which I am extremely grateful.  And my job isn't the kind that I need to be there during any specific hours, just as long as I get the work done (and am accurate with my time sheet).  Anyway, since my schedule is flexible, I don't always work eight hours every day, so I (usually) make up whatever time I need each week on Saturday. :)

"I swear I love this interview.  This guy's one of the most charming, pleasant, fascinating guys...almost, almost was Woody Allen or Mel Brooks and he still has a smile on his face and in his heart.  Super guy, Bruce Kimmel."

I am so full from dinner - this was definitely a splurge day, although I did do a two-mile jog this morning and didn't eat until dinner.  We went to the Daily Grill, and I had that delicious double chicken breast thing again.  Alet and I split a chopped salad and we split the artichoke thing.  So at least those two were cut in half.  We also shared a dessert - an amazing brownie thing, but we each only ate about half of it - she took all the leftovers home to Andy, who ate them all up.

You're actual interview was pre-recorded, of course, and he said this live at a break.  It's at about the 36:25 mark on the website's podcast player.
