Ginny, can you tell me, without looking it up, what the subject was of Richard's sermon today?

I just got back from Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville and two days of glorious internet -free life.  Got to mee the great legend and film icon, Roger Corman...a lovely and gracious gentleman.  Now I must listen to BK's radio interview.

I am surprised, CP, that you had never met Mr. Corman before.

Not because you both lived in "Hollywood," but because you are the author of a screen-classic horror film.

It's not wrong, DR TCB!  I heard him practicing yesterday, but all I could hear over the fan we had running in the hallway was, "I AM THAT I AM."  I immediately thought of the song from La Cage aux Folles and told him about it, but he didn't really care to incorporate it.

LOL!  I think Mel Brooks would have a field day with that one.

I have fourteen pages of my book to read.  I'm going to sit out on the deck with Sherlock & finish it.  What I read yesterday was more interesting than the middle of the book.  With luck I'll won't have to suffer through the last pages.

I rarely read much of reviews for books or movies because on the whole they tell me more then I want to know.  I find it funny/interesting the one time I want information I'm not getting it.

I can just hear Roger Corman walking into the door of his house and saying  to Mrs. Corman, "It was worth it to go to Louisville.  I finally got to meet Charles Pogue!"

I think my nausea has gone away, Mikey, so you're off the hook. I'm debating going to bed or eating some ice cream. Or both. I'm hamstrung on my Indianapolis Symphony work until tomorrow when Alex Rybeck gets back from the cabaret conferecne at Yale and I can get some musc and answers from him. I'm also depressed because I ran out of checks yesterday and I have to order more from the bank tomorrow. I am not happy at the moment.

BK, I would skip the gathering tonight, too, since it is not really a party but some kind of gathering in support of something you don't know about.

I'm watching something called HALLELUJAH BROADWAY on PBS.  Not sure about the classical voices, but I do like Linda Eder.

When I went to see HECKLE AND JECKLE JEKYLL AND HYDE I was all excited about seeing Linda Eder, but I didn't think she was nearly as good as the other woman that was in the show.

I think it's all depression.

Speaking of depressing, here are Steve Reeves and Carol Channing in "The Vamp." l

How very sad that 3D is banned from this site, but still continues to read it on a daily basis.

I don't find it sad in the least; she likes to stir up things and be rude. I prefer her lurking to posting.

I don't know what to call it. But it is sad and pitiful.

I also discovered two certain Swedish movies I ordered from China on Ebay arrived at the office yesterday.  I swore I'd never do that, but I really want to see them...so what the heck.

Hmmm i wonder what those could be. ;)
