And Happy Birthday to E&T DR Jose, one of the few people I know who would not only know the meaning of the word of the day, but has probably done it as well!

He's macerated? I hope not in public! :D

Okay, I'll admit it: I've been known to do so on occasion myself - just did it a few weeks ago, in fact (apricots in ginger-mint syrup, for those who care about such things)

Happy birthday, Jose & Jrand!

TOD:

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Alfred Hitchcock - but I can't decide NORTH BY NORTHWEST, PSYCHO, THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1956)

William Castle - HOMICIDAL

Homicidal?  This film gave me nightmares when I first saw it.  I caught it once again on TV.  I never want to see it again.

Yes, indeedy.  The night was heaven.   Oakland cooled down dramatically yesterday...more than 30 degrees cooler than the day before.

I slept under covers last night!!!

Alas, since I'm about to embark on another Birthday Walkabout, I'm going to be a bit scarce today here on HHW, but before I head down to the Brooklyn Bridge...

-Nothing "happened". Although after almost three months(!!!), ConEd is still working on the lines to the building next door.
-No one offended me, or drove me away from the site. Trust me, if someone had, I would not have gone quietly.
-I have missed all of you and this wonderful community, this Family. And I'm terribly sorry for causing anyone any worries or concerns. It was simply a loss of momentum. And, well, now... PUSH!

by Sapphire.

Welcome back, DR Jose!

Oops, forgot to log out when we left for the vampire's blood lab.  When I was finished there, we went to Bob Evans for breakfast and then on a couple of errands.  Now I'm ready for a nap...
