THE CLOSER CLOSER  NOT REALLY A SPOILER< BUT SORT OF

The plot of the final CLOSER seemed to be almost exactly like a plot I saw on NCIS a while back.

I just wanted to say thank you to BK and to all of you here at Haines His Way for the kind words and congraulations on yesterday's announcement.  It really makes you feel good to get encouragement from members of your own family.  And, without a doubt, I consider all of you my family.

Anyway, thanks.

T.O.D.

In what key does Jill O'Hara sing the song, PROMISES, PROMISES?  I have always had trouble trying to sing it in the key that Jerry Orbach sings it, but her key is pretty darn perfect.

I had so much fun doing my book trailer on iMovie a few weeks ago that I decided to do something else with the program.

This is a song that my son, David, and I did several years ago, the lyrics of which became the Preamble of my previous, ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, book.

It's just a scratch recording, but you will, hopefully, enjoy it.

I am feeling a little better today.....I got some cough suppressants so that THE SHOW CAN GO ON tonight.

Yes, there is a possibility of a BEAUTY AND THE BEAST tour that put the KIBOSH on our planned production.....so our musicals have been changed to:

THE MUSIC MAN - to replace A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING, which I couldn't make anyone understand was a real show that our audiences would love....

CAMELOT - to replace BEAUTY AND THE BEAST....oh well.

The good part about it is, now there is NO show next year I am interested in directing....so I can take the summer off unless I want to be in something.

CAMELOT might be a good choice if you have to replace two musicals.  Just give them one act in place of a whole musical.  Time-wise it will be exactly the same.

The review has been posted....DR TCB, I don't think the pictures are much straighter in the photos.

They forgot to mention who sold the cookies at intermission.  But seriously, Jack, great review!

I see that PROMISES PROMISES is closing in early January.

I can't believe it is staying open that long.

For DR Jane - Dana Delaney's new show BODY OF PROOF is going to be on Friday's at 9pm on ABC.  I'm not 100% sure when it starts. But I think the start date might be To be Determined.

Thanks.  It is the start date I need.  I thought I had read where I missed the pilot but obviously am mistaken.

Myrtle-Belle seems to be feeling much better. She purrs nonstop when she is around anyone. Her eye is looking better.

Humane Societies are not no-kill shelters, I don't think.

The one here is, though my understanding is they pass along many of the "un-adoptables" to another shelter.

PETCO takes some of the older cats from the humane society.  They keep them until they are adopted

Trying to get my act together for our upcoming trip to Florida.  We don't leave until Friday, but tomorrow is a busy day for me - haircut, stress management class & cardiac rehab, book group meeting (not at our house, fortunately!).

Um, this will not do, oh, no, this will not do.  Somebody better get me off this damn page and then explain to me where all the errant and truant are - it's not Saturday, it's not Sunday, it's not a Holiday.  In the meantime, someone just sent me this link - watch the entire clip.

JR, I worked with a Diana Callahan here in PDX, and she actually rented a room in one of my houses once.
