Jennifer - pantomime is a powerful tool in the right actor's hands.

Oh, my gosh I didn't know Sue Randall was in a car accident!

Both of Beaver's teachers died young! Well, sort of youngish anyhow.

Who else is going to watch the FRIENDS final show?

I will probably watch the finale, but not the clips show.  It will be kind of sad to see all these people I have a lot of time invested in.  And they are, in a way, like friends.....very, very rich friends who never take my calls anymore.

In 1994, while I was working on Judy Kuhn's recording for Dear Friend BK, I became friendly with her musical director/arranger Michael Skloff, who was a peasure to work with and an occasional ride to and from the sessions.  Michael's wife had just had a tv series fold, and Michael told me she had big hopes for her and her partner's new series, a show called "Friends."

Well, I haven't seen my friend Michael in years, but every week I watch the series, listen to Michael's theme, and think kindly about him, Marta, and their children.  I'm very happy for their success.

MBarnum, you're so good at finding addresses, FIND LESLIE PARRISH.

Jenny: Glad you liked the third book and looking forward to your amazonian reviews (which you can post here, too, on the Kritzer board).

Jennifer, I saw Prymate at one of the first preview performances and the scene was there. According to all the reviews I read today, everything from the New York Times to Variety to Broadway.com, the scene is still in the show.

I could be wrong but I think the show will stay open through the weekend until the Tony nominations are announced on Monday morning. It will probably then announce the closing date. They were playing to practically empty houses anyway and after these reviews I doubt they could stay open for any period of time unless people want to see what all the fuss was about. Didn't work for Moose Murders though.

By the way, it's certainly not the worst play I've seen in 30 odd years of seeing live theatre (Howard Kissel's comment on the play). I can think of others that could wear the mantle.

Still not working - it's telling me to choose an application for downloading the show - but won't let me. Aaargh. I'd like to have heard it, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Any ideas out there?

In days of old, Prymate would have posted a closing notice already, or would have closed after one performance.  Many many shows closed after one performance and with better reviews than Prymate.  Producers have no shame anymore, and apparently they just don't give a flying Wallenda about their or their investors money.

Yeah, I've tried everything - downloaded it from scratch a number of times. It's probably something quite simple - but I have no idea. I really did want to listen, but c'est la vie.

Let's do a pull quote ad for Prymate, using the worst quotes from each review.  Go.

I'm taking my dog out to poop. (That's not a line from a Prymate review - but it could be.)

I have a Mac.

Me too.  Love my iMac.

I just picked up the cast CD of Bounce today.  I like it a lot; the Significant Other and I saw it few days after it opened in Chicago.

I'm such a geek.  Not only do I save every program to every show I see (even the bad ones!), I often buy the souvenir program and keep the ticket stub.  Pack rat, call me.

"He [DeShields as the gorilla] is convincing when he urinates on the new girl as a sexual gesture.  He also makes a persuasive sound of gorilla orgasm.  Best we ever heard on Broadway."  Newsday.
