Tuesday morning greetings!  We are having a leisurely morning before heading over to Kennedy Space Center.  Plan A is to take the touristy public tour, but we're also awaiting a call from our friend the rocket scientist who  took info from us last night in order to arrange something "behind the scenes."  Either way, I'm sure it will be an interesting day.

DR Ginny - Your "Plan A" can turn into quite a lengthy excursion. There are three main areas, and each one takes few hours to get through. If your "behind the scenes" tour doesn't come through, be sure to check out the visitor's map when you get there. I made the "mistake" of spending so much time in the first area without realizing that the really interesting stuff was in the second and third areas.  However, that ride around the property is very nice. Keep an eye out for the eagle's nest.

Happiest of birthdays to DR Laura - will you have your annual ice cream today?

Thank you, Ginny. I will have to check the freezer to see if my DH picked up what I requested last night.

This is from the famous drunk scene in NEVER TOO LATE wherein my son-in-law decided that when people drink they put the cuff of their pants into their socks.

Happy Birthday to DR Laura!  Have a great day!

And tell us all about your cake!

Thank you, Jennifer. The cake is on the counter with a note that says not to look at it. I will be sure to post a photo later.

I loved the Kennedy Space Center - and got out and walked around on the landing strip where the shuttle always lands.....

DR Jose - thanks for the tip!  Shuttle Discovery rolled out last night and I asked our friend if he could arrange to have it launched for us today, but that was pushing it.

DR JOSE - I hope your MOMA contretemps is settled in a timely manner.  You should have done your Patti LuPone impression:

I do not consider ANYONE who appears on JERSEY SHORE or the execrable THE HILLS to be a "star" - and their appearances on any television show causes me to NOT watch it.

I missed the season premiere of THE BIG BANG THEORY because I had my times confused......I did see TWO AND HALF MEN and the new show MOLLY & MIKE.  M&M was okay, but the sassy black policeman who partners Mike and the sassy Puerto Rican dope smoking sister are too much for me (and the actors playing the roles are....well....graduates of the Debra Messing tv Acting School) - but it's always fun to see Swoosie Kurtz.

HAWAII FIVE O - hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......like the cast, except for the "girl" of the group, pretty useless.....but making the squad a "James Bond" type of organization battling terrorists really negates the idea of having them be in Hawaii.....perhaps this is just the pilot, and they will concentrate on the island in future episodes....otherwise.....I may not stick around....although there is Scott Caan.

I also watched PRINCE OF PERSIA The Sands of Time last night.....well....the first 20 minutes of it.....

And I watched Russell Crowe's ROBIN HOOD, which was okay - but covers NONE of the ground of the other RH movies, it's all about how/why Robin of Loxley became Robin Hood and ends just as that part of the story begins........

bk - The MD was in drag? Aw... :(  -In any case...

I really liked when Encores presented 70, Girls, 70 a few seasons ago. And, yes, "Yes" is a great number.

The chord progression in the intro of "Yes" could easlily be "Sesame Street"!

Good test result vibes for Vixmom!

I spoke to my sister on Sunday, and she received good results on her recent doctor visit.
