Well, you've read the notes, the notes were long and winding, and now it is time for you to post until the long and winding cows come home.

Good morning, all! Today begins the next session of five recording days, and I am a bit worried: this morning we have the tenor who caused a lot of tsuris several weeks ago.
Then last night I learned from my comic tenor, who records on Oct 6th, that our musical director has never called him about a rehearsal! While I trust the singer, an old friend, I am concerned over the behavior of the man in charge of the music who seems incapable of staying on top of things.

As a result, I had a lot of dreams last night that were unnerving; in the last one I can home to find the walls surrounding my bathtub had collapsed into the tub. Before that I had a couple about the idiot tenor.

I think this week's sessions could use some vibes!

I have an hour before I head up to 155th Street. I have time for some oatmeal with cranberries, apples and walnuts and time to write a page of orchestration for Mr Ron Raines.

DR Jane, re: the GOOD WIFE, I figured that it would be Keith who liked Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Btw, I'm guessing that you did not watch SEX & THE CITY.  Cause most people who watched that show love him.

Btw, for anyone who watches HUMAN TARGET. It was supposed to premiere last night. But since FOX cancelled LONE STAR, LIE TO ME will start this Monday in its place. And HUMAN TARGET will move to the old LIE TO ME premiere date of Wednesday November 17th at 8pm.

DR ELMORE maybe it's time to dig up St Joseph and bury him on the other side of the driveway.

LEAP OF FAITH sounds so much like RAINMAKER/SHADE.....but that could just be me.

Of course it would nice if MR BK could pick up a Stagebill off the floor for the needy people in the MidWest.

Most unusual fish dish was Blackended Mud Fish which I had at a very traditional Japanese restaurant. It was absolutely the best fish I had ever eaten...also the most expensive. My meal came to $65.00 in 1990 dollars. That was a lot of dough for me.

Saturday morning greetings!  We had a nice family date at Middfest last night, learned many interesting things about Botswana, and saw a lot of friends, many of whom were surprised to see me "up and around."  I'm going back at noon for some presentations and Richard will join me later at the performance of our favorite local guitarist, Jim McCutcheon.

And it's another MTA Track Work Weekend. However, unlike last week when they were working on 18 of the 19, only 16 of the 19 lines are affected.

And I really hope the track work doesn't and hasn't affected DR elmore's recording session.  -At least the 1 train is running this weekend all the way up to 168th Street.
